Okay, cool, that works.
Just in case the Lions get a first down.  I want to be prepared, y'know?

Alright I will be in a out on this thread
its just a lot harder to blog during football games then baseball. Most of the time because I have friends over that look at me funny when I keep blogging

That and I have a tendancy to break things during games so I don't want that to be my computer

by Scruffy Lefty on Sep 10, 2006 8:08 AM PDT reply actions

I really think Alexander
Is going to get at least a buck fitty today before they bring in their safeties.

Then Hass will go off with single coverage and bust some big plays. It's gonna be fun.

by NotEfrenHerrera on Sep 10, 2006 8:11 AM PDT reply actions

GO HAWKS
Won't be able to hang around 'cause I have to go to the sports bar to watch the game 'cause the FREAKING NFC CHAMPIONS DON'T GET A NATIONAL BROADCAST ON OPENING DAY.

At least the Steelers game has already happened so I won't have to deal with their people while I'm there.

Score prediction?
I think it's going to be something along the lines of 33-19.

What else is new?
I hate Fox football coverage. I tolerate the ESPN pregame coverage (at least they have Steve Young...)

Eeek.
This is the sloppiest pregame show I've ever seen! Geez.

4th down
I hate Mike Martz.  He always tries that "start at Flanker position, move to Tailback position, and nobody think it's going to be a run" play and it never works.

Patented Martz play...
Too much going on, too much time taken, too complex = sack.

The reason the Rams were so good with Martz was Dick Vermeil reigned in some of the insanity.  Once Martz took over, you saw what happened.  Marinelli needs to start reigning in the insanity or Martz will do stupid crap like that all day long.

Man, Hasselbeck looks SHARP.
I know it's a little premature, but based on last year, the preseason and today, could he possibly challenge Steve Young's 70% completion rate from 1994?

Rogers was cut, and Mike Williams
has been unimpressive.

My point was when you have two future hall of famers, Martz looked like a genius. When he has underwhelming receivers, it doesn't work so well.
