Coaches Casullo, Austin Going to New Teams
As expected, the Tampa Tribune reports that Seahawks special teams coach Bob Casullo is joining the staff of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after a two-year stint in Seattle. Additionally, the East Valley (AZ) Tribune confirms that defensive backs coach Teryl Austin has joined the Cardinals staff after four years with the Seahawks.
The special teams during Casullo's two years here were marked by a very scattershot (that's putting it semi-mildly) first season for the Hawks' Super Bowl year, but a greatly improved second season that saw breakout performances from punter Ryan Plackemeier and returner Nate Burleson.
Austin was not expected to be retained by the Seahawks following a troubled season with the DB's.

I don't give Casullo much credit....
What I do remember are some fake punts and field goals in the regular season, and countless holding penalties on returns. I don't know if that was a management decision to focus more on blocking the punt/FG at the expense of covering the fake, but in terms of overall scheme and coaching we looked a bit sloppy.

FYI
Was Casullo the guy who always wore the weird colored jacket, like a dark green?
