6 Hawks going to the Pro Bowl!!
Proud day for the Hawks as 6 players were announced to the Pro Bowl.
Hasselbeck
Jones (big shock)
Kerney
Peterson
Tatupu
Trufant
A great list and I think all of them deserve it. I'm really glad Hasselbeck made it, with no running game Matt was awesome.
All 4 defensive players are starters. Oh and I hate the Mariners.

yeah, pretty much what scruffy said
The only player I would probably question is Jones. Although if there is one player in the league who deserves to make it on reputation it's Big Walt.

Tackle
That's great about Trufant, except that it drives up his price after this year.
Prediction: Leonard Weaver in the PB in 2009.

That's fantastic.
Except I'm disappointed Josh Brown was not named a reserve linebacker.

Kinda off-topic
My friend, who's a transplant from Bellevue to Sacramento, would love nothing more than an autographed Hasselbeck jersey.
Perhaps at the game? But how do I go about getting the probowler to autograph for me?

Hamlin
Here are the six 'Hawks going to the Shitsnack Bowl, held in Hoquiam, Washington opposite the Pro Bowl. Players are selected based upon their poor play/performance:
Coach Holmgren
Shaun Alexander
Brian Russell
Jordan Babineaux
Boone Stutz (out of retirement)
Chris Gray
Honorable mention: Stump Mitchell
Announcing crew: a poo stew of all of the announcers for the Seahawks games this year. Tim Hasselbeck plays QB for the 'Hawks, non?

yes he is
holt: 83 receptions, 1055 yards, 12.7 avg/rec, 75.4 yards/game, 7 TDs
driver: 78 rec, 1016 yards, 13 avg/rec, 72.6 yards per game, 2 TDs
engram: 85 receptions, 1013 yards, 11.9 avg/rec, 72.4 yards/game, 5 TDs
yeah, the TDs arent't there for driver, but the stats are better for both driver and holt in every category except receptions. holt also has played in four games not lead by his starting QB. colston should replace driver.
come on scruffy, you're smarter than that.

okay okay
as for holt, he is hurt by not being lead by bulger all year. all things considered, it shows a lot about him that he's still putting up top ten numbers this year. he's still the better receiver, period. ask the other 29 sb sites here (no charger blog, leave this one and turfshow times out) who'd they'd rather have and i bet all 29 will say holt.

thank you
driver should be replaced by marques colston, engram maybe just maybe should sneak in there as an alternate.
engram was helped by playing with hasselbeck all year, who has just been awesome.

thats cool
I still think your underrating Engram a tad, it's not all Hasselbeck, Burleson is playing with Hasselbeck and he's been average to below average this year. Deion Branch has been good but not great.

Why Engram didn't make it
While Engram was a true #1 receiver for a few games this year due to injuries he showed that he is as good as it gets at making plays. Unfortunately, the hawks prefer to spread the ball around to four or more receivers in the same game. I think this is great and there are few or no NFL teams that can handle Engram, Hackett, Branch, and Burleson all at once. Of course this puts a lot of pressure on Matt to make a lot of reads quickly, and on Weaver to pick up the LB blitz.
Engram has a great story and has played insanely well this year, but is just not in a system designed to produce 'pro bowl' receivers.
Top to bottom I would say this is arguably the best group of receivers (Engram, Hackett, Branch, and Burleson) in the league. That is, except for probably Moss, Welker, Stallworth, and Gaffney (although its close).

If I were voting I'd pick Engram, but that's because I'm a Seahawk guy. Holt more than deserves it this year.
