Tim Mixon Fails his Physical
Mixon was an intriguing sign as an UFA, and his injury (ACL Tear) is one many, even most, players are able to return from with very little performance loss, but, alas, he's failed his physical. Mixon had an excellent season in 2005 after sustaining a mirror injury in his left leg in 2003, and this quote...
"The rehab process is so long and frustrating, but I knew I had a shot of playing in the NFL," the former Cal cornerback/return specialist said. "Anytime one of those feelings started to creep in, I thought about being one step closer to my dream and kept going."
makes me think he is going to keep fighting to get an NFL job until he can't afford to anymore--just probably not with the Hawks.

I seem to have caught the Norovirus...
I think I should be fit enough by Wednesday to post my super early division predictions before starting the season recaps for the offense on Thursday.

oof
Before I shut off the computer and make for bed...
A total disappointment until last year when he cemented himself as a pure possession receiver, he'll make his mark as a kick and punt returner. He's got nice quickness, but he'll do nothing as a receiver and will get erased by the most marginal of defensive backs
Think Arizona might be in trouble if and when Boldin or Fitzgerald go down?
