every once in a while i write a professional email or letter or somesuch, and then i find myself typing in caps for a little while.  but i've always felt that the utilization of capital letters is unnecessary and rather arbitrary (as evidenced by other languages, where there might be no capital letters (arabic) or where every noun might receive a capital (german)).

i also have never understood the resistance to using prepositions at the end of sentences.  since syntax is so unimportant in english, i find it odd that people would worry about it so greatly in that one particular case.  i'm not incapable of self-editing to fix any errors in that department, i just don't see a reason.
