Game Thread: Seahawks @ Tampa Bay 2
On the one hand, unlike in previous weeks, Seattle isn't getting their skulls stomped in. They are losing, but they're stopping the run, winning important matchups and look like a slightly inferior team that's suffered some terrible breaks.
On the other hand, I no longer think Seattle is a good team. A bad team trailing by 17 doesn't come back. This might be my last sincere half of hope for this season. If Seattle is crushed, and I guess I should expect they will be, I'll continue discussing impact players for next season. Need something to watch.

its amazing how a team that is fairly similar to how it was last year has fallen so fast

Injuries, bad breaks and some decline.
The NFL is so tight, a little lost ground and you can sink fast.
considering kurt warner as AZ QB, the carnival that is QB in SF and St. Louis
it doesn’t seem a true contender will emerge soon
If you told me last summer that a Red Sox/Rays game would completely overshadow a Bucs/Hawks game on SNF
I would have clawed my eyes out

I can't be the only who doesn't give a damn about the Rays.
I mean, good for them, but I have no love or commitment to Tampa Bay.
But fuck Boston and their douchey fanbase who still thinks they're underdogs with 3 super bowls, 2 world series, and an NBA finals in the last 8 years

that's what ridiculous injuries will do
it’s not just the injuries themselves… I have a feeling the whole team just feels snakebit and has lost its confidence.
The coaching situation has not helped.
Whos ready for a 98 yard TD drive for the Bucs?

Ok here we go, a 3rd and long....im guessing a first down to a reciever who is wide open
by SacramentoSeahawk on Oct 19, 2008 7:03 PM PDT reply actions
I'm honestly surprised that didn't happen
That was a Seahawks type of play call. Yay

Seattle doesn't need resignation.
What I wouldn’t do for a little fire at halftime. Let’s whip some ass. Let’s embarrass some stars. Get your heart back in it Holmgren!
how come our recievers are never wide open like theirs are?
by SacramentoSeahawk on Oct 19, 2008 7:05 PM PDT reply actions
Sorry,
my question stands. Did I just see wrong, or did he have two blockers and a seam between them, but cut right and into a defender?
Yes
All Morris had to do was run up his blockers’ asses for a first down. BOOOO

The LT Polamalu commercial
showing both of them from hs to nfl is sick..
I like these Leave Nothing adverts every week
This one made me wish I grew up in a country where football was played, I wish I knew how to throw a spiral hehe.
No, that's correct.
Jeremy Stephens the Ex-Seahawk
by lemonverbena on Oct 19, 2008 7:17 PM PDT up reply actions
You got them both wrong
But I don’t care because he’s dead to me.
It’s “Jerramy Stevens”
Haha oops
But now it’s Jerramy Stevens the Ex-Seahawk. haven’t heard his name without the Ex-Seahawk bit.
That was my first thought too

They will combined their legs
for double sucky kicking power!
Well if one misses left, and the other misses right.
Also “From your powers combined, I am captain planet”!!!
"Mike Holmgren was running everything, then decided it was just too much."
Yeah, that’s how it went.
Hutch? Really? You don’t say….
patrick kerney is are best pass defender

Kerney looks better than
Wilson & and Jennings in coverage today.
how much are we going to fucking trip over each other

I didn't realize that our secondary
were moonlighting as they keystone cops.
peterson needs to actually tackle and stop just trying to hit a guy
by SacramentoSeahawk on Oct 19, 2008 7:26 PM PDT reply actions
Well, after he tackled him the second time
it took him back out of the game again.
Garcia just realized that the middle of the field
is WIDE OPEN without Lofa.
of course we are never around when there is a fumble
by SacramentoSeahawk on Oct 19, 2008 7:29 PM PDT reply actions
these days it doesn't seem to matter
even if there are 3 seahawks near the fumble.
Vista works great for me
I have 3 VM’s running on my Vista64 system right now with nary a problem. People just enjoy being critical of things that are new. I encountered the same thing when people told me how much better Windows 98SE was vs. Windows 2000.
I have vista and havn't had problems either.
The problem is when you have a crappy computer running vista.
We have too many WR's
Holmgren knows how to fix that problem
I don't get it.
Does MH have some list of players based on a situation and he plays them unrelated to how they are performing?
seneca needs to run more because he cant pass worth crap
by SacramentoSeahawk on Oct 19, 2008 7:34 PM PDT reply actions
oh yeah, right
because saying you were “stabbed in the back” when a coach chooses to win rather than placate your desire for personal glory means you’re a good guy.
I always thought he was insufferable.
I know we're not supposed to talk about Fantasy....
but I have Julius, Hasselbeck, Carlson, and Branch on my team… not a good team…
I dont even drink.....
but the combination of the mariners, Seahawks, Sonics & huskies may turn me into one

im having a ridiculously hard time understanding...
A) why our corners are 10yds off of the line on 3RD DOWN AND 6
B) How our fearless secondary coach has encouraged said retarded behavior
C) How this doesnt make anyone else want to punch a baby in the face.
