Around SBN: Steve McNair Found Shot to Death

So I have a Question

Does it make you mad that the NFC West Standings look like this?

1. Arizona   4-2

2. St. Louis   2-4

3. San Francisco 2-5

4. Seattle 1-5

Or does it make you happy that the Rams started this?

Just curious. These words exist simply to fulfill the 75 word requirement. Did I mention I hate the requirement. I think that if you want to post a quick-hitter like this, you should be able to. I think that most blogs have decent enough leadership to weed out the fanposts that suck and to find the ones that are really good. Because some of those may be below 75 words.

Oh yeah, and Josh Brown.

Happy.

I hate the NFC East, and I don’t care that we’re last and wore than you guys since we a) kicked your butts and b) are so bad right now it doesn’t really matter anymore (it meaning everything NFL).
Also, you’re giving the NFC West more credibility by beating those two “top teams”.

Fail

No one cares about Josh Brown. He’s a shitbag, and the Rams can have him.

Things might have played out differently with the fans

if Brown hadn’t gone on to KJR Radio and acted like an asshole.

Personally, I always like a player no matter what team he players for.

If I hated Jose Guillen before he was on the M’s, I hate him afterwards. If I loved Arod and Griffey, I still love them.
If I liked Josh Brown before, I still like him.
I mean I guess it kind of hurt when Ray Allen said some bad comments about Seattle when he left, but it was a bad situation, and people say stupid things in bad situations.
If Kerney demanded a trade, he’d still be my favorite DE of all time.
Bedard is still my favorite lefty pitcher of all time, even over Randy, doesn’t matter that he probably won’t be in seattle long, or that he wasn’t very good for us, or that trading for him sort of set the franchise back a few years.
Sorry for the rant.

I can understand your logic except...

he was an idiot on KJR and I heard it. Therefor my love of him as a player ended when I realized he A) was no longer on my team and B) was an ass.

You really think I'll become a bronco fan if I live in Denver long enough? Why, when it is so much fun watching your team suck and mine rock!!!

I'm indifferent.

All I’m saying is that interview may have rubbed other fans the wrong way.

I'm more then happy you're representing the NFC West

it doesn’t look good when the Rams have been as horrible as they’ve been the last 3 years.

hey

he might look funny, but he’s the leading punter in the NFC.

by stlcardinalsfang on Oct 22, 2008 6:10 AM PDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

in average yards per punt

donnie jones is he leading punter in the NFC.

by stlcardinalsfang on Oct 22, 2008 11:15 PM PDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Punts it far but no hang time, so yards returned are high.

Or you’re punting from your’e own 35 and it goes into the end zone for a TB.
Or your team is just bad, so you always punt it from your own 40 or worse, and never have to make precise punts that lock teams in positions worse than their own 20 yard line.

by LantermanC on Oct 23, 2008 10:13 AM PDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

fine--average net yards per punt in the NFC

1. Sav Rocca, PHI 41.9
2. Donnie Jones, STL 41.2

the rams coverage unit is very good. you can punt it far as long as you can cover the field. does he put it in the end zone a lot? yes. will the rams probably give up a TD at some point because he out punts the coverage? yes, but i’d still rather have him booting the crap out of the ball than have some punter who constantly shanks ’em.

the plack is dead last in this category btw.

Donnie Jones or Bilbo?

You Decide….

And I was kidding anyway, I sure would mind have a great punter with how often we have punted this year.

by collyb on Oct 23, 2008 11:01 PM PDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Either Way I was Kidding....

Jon Ryan Has mostly been a disaster thus far, with the acception of a few good punts……And he has had a lot

I have a question for you

Tell me the first thing that comes to mind after seeing these images:

I believe these were all taken on a single Rams possesion.

by Nate Dogg on Oct 21, 2008 10:25 PM PDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

yes the rams lost to the seahawks...badly

but that was the scott linehan rams. we’re not talking about them anymore.

by stlcardinalsfang on Oct 22, 2008 6:10 AM PDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Actually...

By talking about your record at all… you’re talking about the past… if we’re not going to talk about the past, I guess the Hawks and Rams are even at 0-0 right now. (just poking fun).
