I’ve always called really awkward situations (like worse than awkward turtle or awkward giraffe) “drop your pants awkward.” The idea being, "man, this situation is so awkward that I could drop my pants and it wouldn’t get any worse.

While part of me wants to praise Mike Singletary for following in my footsteps, I don’t think I want my football coach making these type of awkward situations. It really seems like he’s playing for his next job now.
