So I was at the Miami game
Man, was it hot there. I'm as red as a lobster. I don't really have anything noteworthy to add concerning the game, I believe that has already pretty much been taken care of. There are just a couple of things that irritate me that made me want to crack skulls at the game.
-Don't berate your own team. yeah, groan and look exasperated, boo if a player really needs it ( 37 in 06 and 07), but don't scream obsceneties at your players. There was a Seattle fan screaming at Colbert after that drop, calling him every name in the book, yelling how worthless he was. I was in the second row behind the Seattle bench. You can't tell me the players can't hear that. Sure...after years of playing, they can tune out the crowd, but there is no reason for that.
-Another thing...same dude was doing this: "Yeah, we suck, you guys are gonna kick our ass" (talking to a Dolphins fan) "yeah, we're SO BAD this year." Look, I realize that what was happening is a subconcious effort to spell the doom and gloom, but Jesus. We're there to win, not to give the Dolphin fans handjobs under the bleachers.
Ok, on to another thing that makes me cringe. Why, oh why, do people feel the need to wear random jerseys to games? I saw a Colts jersey, two Giants jerseys, someone reppin' Walter Payton, a few random colleges, and even some poor schmuck wearing the tar black and piss yellow #7 of Ben Roesthlisberger. My question is why? I just don't get it.
Oh, and Owen Schmitt is a frickin bad ass. Whenever he got a carry, we would yell "Beeeeeer Truuuuck!" I love the dude. And his mohawk.

I think the random jerseys is probably a result of people who like football who have moved to Florida. They're not a Hawks fan. They're not a Dolphins fan. They rep the city they were displaced from.
Doesn’t seem like a big problem…

Yeah, I don’t know. If I went to some random NFL game, I wouldn’t wear my Hawks jersey. That’s just me though.

Nor I, but then again I probably wouldn't go if I didn't like either team?
Just not as fun with no passion for either team….

People that wear jerseys of random teams to a game are playing a joke on themselves.
Like, “I’m such a hardcore fan that I represent (insert team/city) everywhere.” Well, good for you dude/chick. I was at a Hawks/Chargers game here in San Diego back in the day, and started getting heckled by two guys in Eagles jerseys. I’m like, Hey Douchebags: STFU! Your team isn’t on the field. Go home and heckle Santa.

lol
There was a dude wearing a Giants jersey who was cheering his lungs out for Seattle. A strange sight.
