Putzier Re-signed, Adams Back to Practice Squad
Welcome back Putz, long time no see!
The Hawks filled the need at a struggling posit......Wait, what? Really? I am oh so hopelessley confused on this one. The team is 2-8. Putzier is old and whatever talent he had has completely been washed out for a couple of years. Adams is young and plays a position that has been regarded by many as the most problematic on the roster. Wow. Why? I'm not a Ruskell basher but this is pretty out there....
A place to bury strangers.

A real head scratcher
That’s for sure. Do we still have Will Heller? Does it really Matter? Do we need to keep two tight ends?
I was really hoping Russel would come down with some mystery injury and IR’d for the rest of the year. I was kinda getting excited about maybe seeing Adams play. I mean he can’t be worse than BRuss.

hmmmmmm
This makes my brain hurt a little. Good thing I’m not smart because if I was I’d stay up all night and try to figure this out.
I'd like to kick Josh Brown in the privates!

Adams must have insulted Walrus's wife or something
Dick Dastardly and Muttley with sick laughter

Adams actually spend his hours on the roster
walking around at practice yelling “Goo goo ga choob!” with pointing down from under his top lip.
That is the only reason I can think of that would justify this move.
Can't wait for Ruskell to knock this one out of the park.

Holmgren loves his TE's.
Since he’s been here, Holmy’s been rigid about the roster #‘s for his offense – even when it’s come at the expense of special teams or defensive depth. Doesn’t matter that Putz will probably be inactive Sunday, Holmgren just can’t stand the thought of being limited in his formations/playcalling if Heller or Carlson tweeked something before the game (and given the way this season’s gone, that’s always a possibility)
Adams was called up to the 53 purely because of ST need. Now that Hawthorne and possibly CJ Wallace are back, that need is gone.

Meanwhile, Brandon Coutou continues to occupy space on the roster.
Still waiting to see that super-secret two-kicker play, Holmgren.
Every day I hear about Seattle sports' failures. Every night I fall asleep to the sound of my own tears.

Um, I thought Heller was hurt? Did I miss something?

Heller and Hawthorne practiced monday
But, good god this makes no sense. Is there no safety out there worthy of an in-season tryout….

This is a head-scratcher
When I see moves like this that don’t seem to make sense, I assume there are things going on behind the scenes that fans are not aware of. At least, I hope that is the case.

Weird
I’m sure Adams will happily take his pro-rated league minimum paycheck for his cup of coffee on the big squad, but shit, Putz does nothing. There’s got to be some kind of replacement-level modern stats argument for getting rid of the guy…
