Instead of Seahawks Anonymous this week - I decided to open up the lounge. Come on in and Socialize. BrianL will be playing some smooth bass tonight. J - Morg is behind the bar serving up drinks. Christian is the door man and Scruffy will be your server tonight and maybe later might get up and tell some jokes.

I saw the headline and thought, “dip, dive, socialize, get ready for the ”blank" href="http://www.amazon.com/Street-Signs-Ozomatli/dp/B00025EU0E/ref=pdbbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1227486046&sr=8-1">Saturday night." But it’s Sunday.

With the Seahawks so terrible, I have to root for teams I hate to also lose, so if the Cardinals lose in the next half hour here, I’ll take small solace in it.

It’s one of those things — I knew someone back in 2002 who was going to root for the Angels if the Mariners didn’t make it to the playoffs, like a root-for-the-AL-West thing. Of course, my way of thinking is that if I can’t have the joy, then none of my rivals should have it either. A’s, Angels, Rangers, screw ‘em. Obviously, on the football side of things, I’m rooting for a one-and-done playoff for the Cardinals.

…and I don’t have the right channels in Hawaii with which to watch the Grey Cup final.

Its like last year's World Series

When Rudy Giuliani (the supposed NY Yankee diehard) said he was rooting for the Red Sox in the World Series because “I’m an American League fan”. Wow, Rudy, its not obvious at all that you’re trying to get Boston voters to stop hating you and instead vote for you. Not to mention, his son is a senior at my school right now, and is an absolute fat douche.

lost his place on the golf team once Giuliani’s presidential campaign stopped. He is also fat, and douchey looking.

Nah, he's the one at Duke

He was terrible at golf (12th out of 13 i think), and when the program had to make cuts down to 10, he freaked out about why he was cut. Now he’s suing us.

It just one of those things that eerrks me… you know?…. Your first reaction to a honk is never a good one…. its just agitating and makes the hair on your neck rise…. (stoner laugh) …..
