Warning, image may take a while to load.

I'm not sure what we should call this. Dead cat bounce? Look ma no hands/arms/upper limbs? A heady attempt?

Keep an eye on #25, because Brian Russell is simply too beautiful to play defense.

My favorite part of this play is the beginning when Russell runs across the field and jams Dan Klecko for no apparent reason.

You may gain some yards on the ground, but eventually Lofa will end up biting you in the ass.

...

I’d like to see more gifs here actually, some plays to be proud of.

I can promise there will be more gifs.

I’ve been playing around with different video editing tools and have come up with a system to crank one of these out in about fifteen minutes. Thankfully I’ve also figured out a way to cut down on the gif size.

Of course, I'm not going to be able to crank these out as immediately as Jeff an JI can over at LL.

Since the NFL doesn’t broadcast games live over the internet, I typically have to wait until a torrent comes out (which has much higher quality than the DVDs I’ve been recording at home).

Check out this site.

I’m at work so I can’t check, but I think it’s the one I found week one that has nearly all or all of the NFL’s games.

Yep, I use that

It’s nice, lets me catch up pretty much any game…college as well!

If life gives you lemons, keep the receipt

Dead cat bounce

My cats do this thing where they jump for something (like a ball or fly or something moving) and slowly move in a flat spin while it passes them…

Thats exactly what he looks like in this clip…

good work

Flying through the air to give Jackson a love tap

It’s amazing the way that Russell can make the least bit of action look like it takes the maximum amount of effort.

Does he know

that you can actually use your arms?

by Bodach on Nov 6, 2008 9:01 AM PST   0 recs

I don't think so

Knowing Russell, he probably thought he was playing European football AKA soccer. Now if it was soccer, that’s a terrific header. Maybe he’d be better off on the Seattle MLS team

Walter Jones, you were the greatest, most dominant player I've ever seen at any position. It's been an honor to be your fan.
