Shanahan fired
Wow absolutely crazy. I never thought that would happen, you'd think he basically had immunity. While Denver hasn't looked that great, and they probably have high expectations, they only have been out of the playoffs for 3 years, and if they could do anything about that defense, would be looking pretty good.
Is it even remotely possible that he could end up taking the OC position here?
Am I wrong for thinking that would be sweet?

Fuck OC
Give me him as our coach
You may gain some yards on the ground, but eventually Lofa will end up biting you in the ass.

It's unlikely he can't get a HC job somewhere right?

Detroit? Cleveland?
He has to be an improvement for them, right?
Man do I love midgets.

Most anything would be an improvement over Romeo Crennel's comatose glaze
or of course, 0-16. I’m fairly sure Shanahan doesn’t have children married to inept coordinators.

I don't think Crennel is that bad.
How would most coaches have fared with that roster? I’d give Crennell or Mangini jobs on the Seahawks staff, they seem to have worse reputations than they deserve.

Mangini is more stubborn then Holmgren
I don’t think you would like him.

I'd be fine with him if he wasn't the head coach. I don't think Mangini is head coach material, but he's still worthy of an NFL job.

I'd be down with Crennell as our DC.
Every day I hear about Seattle sports' failures. Every night I fall asleep to the sound of my own tears.

If you want to see the 'Hawks run a 3-4
which they do not currently posses the personnel for. It is the exact opposite of the type of player Ruskell likes.

Crennell was an awful, awful head coach
Would Mora want such a strong figure as a defensive coordinator since thats where he has his roots? I have no idea, but I’d assume he’d hire a Gil Haskell-esque defensive coordinator.

The bigger question is: who goes to Denver?
That team has a lot of talent and a weak division.

How about Marty Schottenheimer?
That would be a slap in the face to the Chargers.

Denver probably automatically becomes the #1 coaching job out there
When you already have Jay Cutler and Brandon Marshall, you have a solid foundation on offense. Now… on defense… Champ Bailey and ???
I’ve actually been thinking that Denver may make a big push for Leroy Hill. They desperately need prime talent.

I can't lie, my selfish side was freakin amped when I saw he got fired
I’d love to have him here, I don’t know how it would work out, but I really wouldn’t be surprised if there was some sort of conversation in our FO
I mean how couldn’t there be
Let's go.

The front office more or less passed on Holmgren
Unless the discussion was about Shanny as an o-coordinator, which I doubt he’d accept, I don’t think there was one.

Tim Ruskell wants another head strong, controlling head coach like a hole in the head.
There’s a reason he signed Mora and it’s written all over his face.

That's not exactly a ringing endorsement of Mora.
By the way… I don’t think I’ve read much of your opinion on Mora himself, John. How come?

haha
i truly don’t feel that they are having conversations about literally adding him to our staff, none whatsoever, but you have to imagine it ignited some sort of interesting comments at some point or another after hearing the news.
Let's go.
