I can't seem to post on the entry on CW so I thought I'd offer my perspective on him as a USC student who watched him play the last few years.
CW, is an interesting story. He came to USC as a Math/CS major and struggled a lot academically. I believe he later was discovered to have a mild learning disability and got help from our Universities academic support programs. He took time off from football and went off athletic scholarship to get his academics in order.
In terms of playing ability CW has been kind of frustrating for me to follow as USC fan. Obviously I wanted him to succeed but it always seemed annoying at times to see him get carries while guys like Joe McKnight, Allan Bradford, Stafon Johnson, CJ Gable were left on the bench. If you ask most USC fans what the result would be of a hand off to CW they'd probably answer "A four yard gain straight up the middle". CW used a combination of his strength and our talented O-Line to get a lot of his yards.
I think he's a solid guy, who is used to overcoming a lot of adversity and not one to give up. The coaches obviously saw a lot out of him give the amount of playing time he get in the meritocracy that is the current USC football system.
I'm not sure CW can be a star in the NFL, but I think with the right O Line he can be a solid, power rusher.
