Seahawks Undrafted Free Agents
Via king of the links, Seahawks Addicts, Seattle's undrafted free agents. (With Blurb)
S Jamar Adams (Michigan): 4 year letterman, good size, good in coverage
CB Donovan Alexander (North Dakota): Not this guy
WR Travis Brown (New Mexico): 10 Rec, 121 Yards versus Top D Arizona
WR Michael Bumpus (Washington State): Good possession guy, will have to work to stick
LB Matt Castelo (San Jose State): Undersized, athletic, quick...you know this story, right?
C Dustin Dickinson (Houston): Athleticism, tech, versatility, but not the size
CB DeMichael Dizer (Grambling): Decent small school product
LB David Hawthorne (Texas Christian): 71 tackles, 5 sacks, at TCU
S Kelin Johnson (Georgia): 2 year starter, 4 year contributor on top rated Georgia D. 4 picks his senior season.
T Williams Robinson (San Diego State): The man that protected Kevin O'Connel's blindside. 6'6", but only 280.
WR Anthony Russo (Washington): Local kid, good deep speed. Won't stick.
S Eric Wicks (West Virginia): Not liked by scouts, but three year starter, decent size, decent speed on a consistently great defense. Keep an eye on him.

I bet Adams will be this years CJ Wallace
Anthony Russo was the man at UW, don’t know how he’ll be in the pros. A very VERY poor mans DeSean Jackson?
Robinson started at LT for SDSU last season.

I also really like the Adams signing.
Surprised he went undrafted. He’s got all the “Ruskell Guy” intangibles, but also has the size/speed measurables as well.
I’m jumping on the bandwagon that he’s this years’ UDFA success story. With our current crop of S’s, he’s definitely got the opportunity.

I'm gonna be rooting for Bumpus in training camp
I know he doesn’t have a shot at really making the team, but I’ve always liked Bumpus. And he’s got one of the most fun to say names I’ve run across.

My mom loves his name
she’d always get excited when USC played Wazzu just for his name. It made her think of some fictional character with a similar name.

Marshall s Red Bryant
Per Seahawks Insider, he thinks he’s at the same place now that Mebane was at a year ago. He also plans to play him with Bane or to sub in to replace Bane w/ Rocky and Terrill.
His feelings about the state of Tubbs’ recovery are not the most inspiring however (but it’s very early yet).

Not that early..
It’s about month 8-9 after Tubbs’ injury. He has, what, 4 months left before pre-season/camps? Less? :/

For the Husky fans
Louis Rankin signed with the Raiders.

What'd they draft McFadden for
if they were just going to turn around and grab Rankin the next day?

They clearly had a need at RB
I mean, there’s no way that Lamont Jordan, Run-DMC, Michael Bush, Justin Fargas and Dominic Rhodes can carry the load.

Not that its an accurate barometer
but Castelo was really awesome for me last year in NCAA football :D
But yeah he’s really undersized.
