Lofa Tatupu Allegedly Arrested For DUI

PrintI can't find many details on this yet. There's no confirmation so it's just a rumor at this point, but apparently Lofa was arrested on a DUI .
He apparently blew a .15.
This would be a pretty terrible situation. Goodell is getting rough on players who are violating rules. Especially rules that have a system in place where they should never happen. Teams have drivers available to all the players. Maybe it's just something I will never understand.
Anyone else have anymore details about the arrest?

there’s a pretty huge difference between rocky’s and lofa’s charges, if lofa is even being charged. i’m not saying i’m happy with a dui from one of my favorite players, but that’s a LONG way from domestic violence.
I didn't say they were the same level of asshole-ishness.
But Lofa is still a fucking asshole for driving drunk.

Yeah, no excuse.
Our culture is permissive about driving drunk, but it’s an abhorrent offense. 18,000 dead in 2006.
Still, I don’t think athletes owe us anything in their personal lives. I don’t pretend to know these guys. When Tatupu straps on the Blue, I’ll root for his play and him as a player.

He has no previous history of offenses, so
he might get off easy. Maybe a fine and a 1 game suspension.
Leonard Little killed a woman
by drunk driving, and then got busted 6 years later for drunk driving again. I think he got a 4 game suspension, I don’t remember. I doubt there will be much discipline from the NFL on this.
People make mistakes, and this was a big one, but I’m confident that we won’t see his name in police reports again.
Different commissioner though

in addition to his dui though?
I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.

Looks like the league only suspends if its a second offense. Forget about that though… Lofa Tatupu drives a Hyundai Accent??!? That’s so awesome.
