Tubbs has right knee cleaned out
via the scope, as per ESPN; doesn't sound like reason for concern, but I did think it ought to be noted here. He'll miss minicamp in consequence, but is still hoping to be in the lineup to start the season.
Personally, if he can stay healthy going forward, with Bane and Rocky starting and Tripplett added to the squad, I think we have a heck of a rotation at DT; barring injury, I'm betting Red Bryant winds up on the practice squad this year to watch and learn.

The chance for Tubbs to contribute a significant amount this season is highly in question.
He is apparently looking really fat from all the lack of excercise, and I just cant see him coming back enough to make the opening day roster. I’m guessing he will be PUP, and then when he comes back i think we would be lucky for him to get 5-15 snaps a game.
Also, no way Red Bryant is on the practice squad – he would be signed by another team immediately.

I think you're concluding too much from too little information.
It’s mini-camp. Let’s revisit this in a few months.

Okay.
I’m going to stand by those two things though. I’d love to be wrong about Tubbs.

What is the point of this site?
If we can’t have discussion?
I agree with ASUboyd in his assessment of Tubbs. Until Tubbs proves us wrong, we are basing our conclusions on past performance, which is the most informed method of drawing them.
I had the chance to talk with Tubbs at training camp in ‘05, and the guy lacks humility. It is no surprise to me that karma hasn’t saved him.

Discuss what you want.
I was just giving my opinion.
