Shaun visits with Bengals

From the story "Alexander to visit ":

Alexander, who turns 31 after the last preseason game, isn't the same back that led the Seahawks to the Super Bowl a few years ago and any deal would be contingent on a physical. He broke his wrist in last season's opener and after he twisted his knee and ankle in Week 9 he finished with 716 yards rushing on 3.5 per carry. He became the eighth player in history to rush for 100 career touchdowns in the season finale.

His strengths are that he's a solid guy, adds another dimension in the passing game with terrific hands, has had tremendous production in the past, and his wrist is apparently healed.

!!!

A place to bury strangers.

Is this the same source that said Burleson had good hands and ran good routes

but was slow and bad at running after the catch, lacking big play ability?

31 is the new 60.

Have you been watching the same games as me? Alexander is horrible at catching passes. To say that he can help a passing game is totally incorrect. I loved Shaun while he was here and i’ll always keep his # 37 jersey, but I didn’t love him for his pass catching ability!

Club Handed Twinkletoe That Avoided Contact

I liked Shaun as a player despite the drawbacks. I think he would outrush Adrian Peterson in Minnesota, since they open the same huge, gaping, Grand Canyon holes we used to marvel at here in Seattle. But as a running back, he’s only as good as his line, always was. What switched in Seattle is that now all we can do is pass block. The part about him contributing to a passing game is indeed a true laugher though. He can stay in and block, but catch anything besides a cold? They’re smokin’ crack. Shaun’s a great guy, and I wish him well, ie a paycheck next season, but when we play his team they oughtta expect a steady diet of slant blitzes and guys pursuing down the line of scrimmage.
