If a non-Seahawks fan were predicting an all-time Seahawks draft, they would almost certainly have guessed this guy would have gone #1 . . . With their round 3 pick, the (19)76ers select Shaun Alexander (boos from the crowd). While his running style always left something to be desired, and his final two years in the league should have been spent selling used cars, and he surely benefited from some great O-lines in his prime, the guy still produced. I won’t go over all his numbers, but SA clearly had talent to burn early in his career. He was an adept pass-catcher (remember those screen plays?) and he was fast, not blinding, but fast. He was durable, until he wasn’t. And although he should have shared the MVP with Walt and Hutch, he still won it, and he ran his tookus off in 2005.
