The (19)76ers follow up their controversial selection of Sean Locklear with a pick that may also garner naysayers: WR Darrell Jackson. In 2004, DJack set the (since broken, by B. Engram) franchise record for receptions in a season with 87. In his final year with the Hawks, 2006, he caught 10 TDs. And while he sometimes neglected to complete the primary function of a WR (catch the ball) his production cannot be disputed. GM jeager is confident Jackson’s presence will not be a problem in the locker room. "With acknowledged leaders such as Matt Hasselbeck, I think we can keep this thing moving in the right direction." Jeager offered no comment when he was reminded that Hasselbeck was also on the Seahawks when Jackson’s discontent became a distraction for the team.
