Official: Field Gulls Fantasy Football (UPDATE)

Update: It looks like this league is filled. For those interested in signing up for a Field Goals endorsed league, I would suggest entering your name here. Some will end up in the JS League, the "official" league, but I will create separate leagues for everyone else who signs up but isn't selected. And I will participate in every league. I figure all my fantasy football will be FG related this year. Kind of cool, actually, beats womping a bunch strangers. -John Morgan

K, I'll edit this in a bit. I'm getting married this sunday and will be gone for 2 weeks following that so I wanted to post this to remind everyone that the league will be here.

The only change I'm going to make from last year is instead of starting 2 QB's were only going to start one. Everyone from last year spot is reserved as long as they post in this diary by the time I get back from the honeymoon. Except for Coach Owens (Sorry bud thats what happens when you go inactive the entire year)

After the people claim their spots I'll open it up for first come first serve.

I’ll try to create the actual league tonight. If not tonight tomorrow. And if there is overwhelming interest might trim the rosters and expanding the league to more teams.

So obviously there is a lot of interest. Should we split this into 2 leagues with the same scoring breakdown? And the winners of the 2 leagues would square off in a week 17 matchup? We would have to manually calculate the score but I’ve done it before.

So I sent out the first round of invites to the people that checked in

The ones that haven’t checked in have till August 10th to do so otherwise your spots will be given up. If there is still a surplus of people leftover I would love to do a NFC AFC thing with 2 different leagues with the same scoring system and then have the winners face off in week 17.

Anyway I’m off to get married – and I’ll check in when I get back from Kauai
