The Fun Time Factory is rather pleased to be able to solidify their middle with such a terrific defensive tackle this late in the draft. A member of the Seahawks from 1994-1999, what I remember most about Adams is his first step. I still have never seen a defensive tackle with the speed off the ball that Adams possessed. The snap would happen and he would be two yards into the backfield, which helps account for the 23 sacks he has accumulated. In fact, Adams and Rocky Bernard have given virtually identical production as Seahawks. Both have played for the same number of seasons for Seattle... 23 sacks for Adams, 25 for Rocky. 167 tackles for Adams, 163 for Rocky. During that time we have universally recognized Bernard as one of the premier DTs in the league. Now we recognize Adams' brilliance as well, and when paired with Joe Nash we are talking about a couple of extremely complimentary players. The DKSHFTF defense continues to improve on all fronts.
