Seahawks Nation (Atlanta?)
I was born in Seattle but moved away in 2003 for college. Over the past year I have participated in the NYC Seahawks Meetup at the Crow's Nest on 2nd Avenue in Manhattan. We had anywhere from a dozen to 50+ people on any given Sunday.
Does anyone else participate in organized Seahawks meetups outside of the Northwest? I know some of the others from the Crow's Nest read this blog. I am wondering what else is out there.
I am also moving to Atlanta in a few weeks to start up at a new school. Is anyone here an Atlanta Seahawks fan? Or do you know anyone you want to refer to me?
Its better to be organized. In New York since we had such a big crew we were always guaranteed to have the Hawks game on all the big screens and even drink/food specials from time to time.
I am a little afraid of being that guy who is sitting alone in the corner of the bar screaming at a little TV, "AHHH!!! HE THREW THAT RIGHT INTO COVERAGE!!!"

Well
Phildopip and I get together every Sunday and watch the Hawks. But we live in Portland, so we don’t qualify for the “outside the NW label.” Alas!
Speaking of which, hey John, do you want to join us at the Cheerful Pitstop on Friday, the 8th, for the first game of the preseason vs the Vikings? There’s a lot of interest to watch this preseason, methinks.

Seahawk Nation (Charlotte)
I’m not going to be down in the ATL anytime soon, but if your in the NC neighborhood give a shout here and we can try and organize a lame-ass gathering in the hippest, potential ghost-town (say “hi” Wachovia!) in the nation.

Charlotte ay...
Did you move from Seattle to Charlotte recently? Did your girlfriend work with my wife at Starbucks a while back? I remember having a couple over to my apartment in the U district a few summers ago who I later heard moved back to Charlotte…

Nope
I left Arizona in ‘95 for D.C. I decided I did not want to die drunk and somewhat well-off in D.C., so I left for Northern Charlotte area to waterski and raise a family. I gave up coffee a few years back… if you knew me, you’d be glad.

Oh...
I went to Zona on scholarship via my first 18 years in Kent (yes, the hole). I managed to lose the scholarship, but still managed to get a degree (then again, if you can’t graduate from UA, WSU is all you have left).
