Burleson

Hey guys I write for the Colts blog, but in my fantasy league I drafted Nate Burleson in the finals round because of the injuries sustained to both Branch and Engram. My question is how has Burleson looked? Do you think he will have a successful season this year? I know last year he had some success later in the season so maybe he will be able to replicate that for a full year. Is there anyone else to fill in outside Burleson?

Thanks!

I may be biased

Cause I’ve always loved the guy. But he really has looked better this year. More effort and better routes have made me believe that he has taken that extra step this year to becoming a better all around receiver. His overall knowledge of the offense has grown and he is the only guy Hass has really thrown to so he will be targeted a lot.

great pick, imo

i got him in my draft as well. he is the only proven guy at least for the first 3 weeks catching balls from one of the top qbs in the game. expect to see around 10 TDs again and possibly a 1,000 yard performance. it wouldn’t surprise me if he makes the pro bowl this year.

Lot of balls

He’ll see a lot of balls (50 or 60 at least) and get lots of yards (700 at least), but the 9 TDs was a fluke last year. With the addition of the new backs to get red zone looks and luck reverting to the mean, I’d expect around 5 or 6 TDs. He’s a good receiver, but no Pro Bowler. In my opinion.

well pro bowl is in the realm

if you believe he has really made the next step.

Walter Jones, you were the greatest, most dominant player I've ever seen at any position. It's been an honor to be your fan.
