Tatupu report on Yahoo NFL - Rumors

I don't know how many of you have seen this, the report doesn't really add any more to what we already know or don't know but I was struck by the comments section.

The Seahawks are garbage?  ...meh.

  • 3 Do the Seahawks even have any premier players still on the team? Alexander was a fluke The Wiz posted on Tuesday, Aug 26, 2008 10:58 am EDTReport Abuse
  • 4 The O-line was the star player just as in Kansas City. Neither have anymore. artznow posted on Tuesday, Aug 26, 2008 11:05 am EDTReport Abuse
  • 5 Dumbasses aplenty on these message boards. I guess four all-pros (Walter Jones, Patrick
Kerney, Julian Peterson and Lofa) and six pro-bowlers (those four plus Hasselbeck and Trufant) don't count as "premier players". This "garbage" team has won more playoff games than any other team besides the Patriots in the last 3 years (and more regular season games than any other teams beside the Pats and Colts as well) and have had the best record in the NFC since the division realignment in 2002. Lofa will be fine, and even if he wasn't, Seattle is one of the deepest teams in the NFL, especially on defense (which is why teams like Denver and Houston went after Seattle's backup linebackers Kevin Bentley and Niko Koutuvides and pegged them as starters). Exactly.

Might as well post retarded comments from YouTube or imdb while we’re at it.

maybe so. I liked the last comment in defense of the Hawks. I think we’ve come a long way from our days of going 8 & 8.

Niko Koutuvides

Is going to have a big year in Denver, methinks.
