Forsett Starting Kick Returner for Colts

Forsett has returned a kick and a punt for 48 yards combined in the first quarter....

Overreacting about one fumble caused us to lose Burleson. Not Forsett himself as some have argued.

Stupidity on the part of the Hawks. Using Wallace in the return game will further compound such stupidity. Hopefully Bumpus succeeds as a returner. I don't want to see Trufant, Wallace, or anyone else mentioned in that mix. Maybe Coutu can return kicks.

Forsett only has had one good return

He had a opportunity to take a knee but instead took it out and didn’t get to the 20. He also fell down on another return.

Hopefully the colts lose and panic and cut him :)

You may gain some yards on the ground, but eventually Lofa will end up biting you in the ass.

Forsett stats

4 kickoff returns for 21 yard average (27 long)
2 punt returns for 15 yard average (including a 25 long that would have put the Colts in field goal range late if not for an unnecessary roughness penalty late)

With Addai’s struggles today, he might see some backfield time too.

sigh

I was taking a nap and woke up just in time to see him make that 25 yard return.

Good...

That’s exactly what he showed in the preseason. Return talent, but also not the discipline to be NFL ready at KR/PR. Hopefully it gets him back to our PS where he should be.

Not likely

Colts fans seem to be pretty happy with him so far.

Yes...

Bescause Wilson taking the kick out of the endzone at the end of the game was the epitome of discipline… When Forsett knew that he needed to impress in the final preseason game against the Raiders he kept downing the ball in the endzone like five times; I think his discipline was fine.

Walter Jones, you were the greatest, most dominant player I've ever seen at any position. It's been an honor to be your fan.
