NFL Opening Day: Redskins @ Giants Game Thread

Not sure who's watching, but I figured I'd put this somewhere. Eli Manning looked pretty solid on the first drive excepting a pass he threw to Burress in double coverage which he bobbled, then came down with. The Giants came out strong, but I still am not believing they're the team they looked like at the end of the year last year.

Now that those words are out of the way, have a game thread.

A place to bury strangers.

Eli Manning leads the league

in rushing TDs.

I only have gamecast as this game isn’t on ESPN360.

If it wasn't for college football I'd probably have given up on sports.

I thought that was the start of the 4th quarter.

I really need to pay attention more, I was there and I wasn’t drunk, what the hell.

Eli Manning

4/7 on the first drive, 4/10 since.

If it wasn't for college football I'd probably have given up on sports.

I think that's mostly because he's not good.

It’s not like last season’s playoffs were just a fluky hot streak…

campbell threw too many away

though not on purpose

Why? Because the Seahawks rock my socks.

Boring game, at least we know the Skins won't threaten the Hawks

Both teams looked terrible in the 2nd half, the plays were so mechanical, no creativity at all.

Give me the home, where Buffalo roams, and watch Jones get a hundred yard game.

Anyone think that perhaps Zorn didn't realize...

that he was supposed to win? It’s like he was looking for a moral victory or a chance to instruct Jason Campbell.
