Free agent wide recievers
Let's be honest here -- we can't trust our young, inexperienced wide receivers. While I acknowledge that they DO have potential, we can't afford to lose any more games due solely to their incompetence. From what I saw in the Bill's game, I saw nothing positive out of our young, so-called "promising" receiving corps. Their route running was poor and they couldn't catch the goddamn ball at all.
So, I sincerely hope that the Seattle organization finally does what it should have done weeks ago: sign free-agent wide recievers (ideally veteran players). Joe Horn and Terry Glenn are really sounding good right now. Also, I wouldn't mind signing Chad Jackson.
What do you guys think? Am I overreacting to this situation? Because I don't want to lose against the fucking Niners next week or the Rams the week after.
A place to bury strangers.

Not Overreacting
But Joe Horn is not the solution. Terry Glenn might have something left and Chad Jackson isn’t any better than what we have. If we go out to get a receiver we better find someone thats going to be here long term and not a quick fix.
You may gain some yards on the ground, but eventually Lofa will end up biting you in the ass.

Chad Jackson
at least can catch the ball — that’s always a plus.

Get Terry Glenn
They should go get Terry Glenn right now. Now that Burleson is down, we have nobody who is a proven receiver. We need a veteran. If Glenn isn’t available, then Joe Horn. Somebody who is proven to be able to catch the ball.

Lets just say
Burleson and Branch both have better knees than Glenn.

You could say that
“During the 2001 season, coach Bill Belichick deactivated him for the rest of the season because of his off-the-field problems and when the Patriots won Super Bowl XXXVI, Glenn did not receive a championship ring.”

He still feels that he can contribute at a high level as a #2 receiver.
The problem is that he is no longer a #2, and he does not at all fit into our system. Our cuts, routes, and blocking scheme for WR’s would just be bad news for all involved.

So what are people's opinions on Koren Robinson?
What if he is in game shape and has truly reformed, as I have heard?

rather take a chance on a new person
then buy a consistent loser. Burn me once, shame on you, burn me twice, shame on me…
