Whatever.

Good game. Fun to watch. One more chance to root against the Cardinals.

by John Morgan on Jan 18, 2009 3:35 PM PST reply actions   0 recs

That was a lame introduction to the game.

When glitter comes off players, nothing says gay more than that.

And more athletic than most NFL players

But why would he do it? He is the best (arguably maybe) player in the NBA which pays it’s players more than the NFL. In the NFL he would just be a very good player (possibly)

Russell??

I wish we would of had Brian Russell return kicks for the last game.

I'm wearing my referee shirt.

On one side I will put “Hi my name is Arizona Cardinals” and on the other I shall put “Hi my name is Pittsburgh Steelers”

Well at least if the Ravens win I'll know who to root for.

Good job Ravens not running the football at all.

Well if the Cardinals win

We’ll be the only team in the division w/o a SB win.

Fucking shit.

by aerozeppelin on Jan 18, 2009 3:59 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

I don't care about that.

To me, nothing that happens after the Seahawks are out (October, this year) really has much impact on my “personal relationship” with the team.

That way I can enjoy the rest of the games and not stress too much about it.

Of course, I was big on the Philly bandwagon. Ugh.

I wish we could get honest answers on the state of Hasselback's Back...

Is there a time table? Is he just going to rest? Is he done? Do they try to restructure his deal? Is he done? I pray that this ends better than the whole Alexander thing…Walking out of the stadium this season and hearing the masses scream for Matt’s benching sucked…can you imagine a world with Senecca W. as the Hawk starter(full time)…Please draft Crabtree…please…I would rather have whoever is under center to have a weapon to roll the dice with…how slow is Nate B. going to be after the knee pop? Engram is gone right? Branch will automatically miss half of the season because he is small and injury prone…please draft Carbtree…please…

I hate the Steelers.

I’d honestly rather see the Cardinals win the SB than fucking Pittsburg.

by AtomicGarden on Jan 18, 2009 4:18 PM PST reply actions   0 recs

Wow, Ray Lewis blew that shit up.

How fast did he get in there? Devastating.

by djafrot on Jan 18, 2009 4:28 PM PST reply actions   0 recs

That's what I wanted to see.

This game has been boring and it’s not even the 2nd quarter.

LOL SCREAMING FOREST ANIMALS!

And I thought CGI animals was a trend long-gone. How I was wrong.

classy Pitts crowd...

…BOO YOU’RE INJURED!

by djafrot on Jan 18, 2009 5:26 PM PST reply actions   0 recs

I'd rather them than the Cardinals.

I couldn’t stand seeing an NFC West team that’s not us beating Pittsburgh in the Super Bowl.

I'm exhausted by this season

It’s hard to root for the Ravens. It’s impossible to root for anyone else.

by John Morgan on Jan 18, 2009 5:32 PM PST reply actions   0 recs

Took away the Raven's chance of scoring

I don’t think it’s fair yet.

But seriously, why does it seem like refs always favor the Steelers in playoff games?

by Ovreel on Jan 18, 2009 5:35 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

it's not?

You can’t even SAY the word “ref” as a Seahawk fan without some moronic Steeler fan (or wannabe tough Seahawk fan) jumping in with his comments about we should just “suck it up”.

by djafrot on Jan 18, 2009 5:47 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

Yeah....I'll be the first to admit Seattle didn't play too well during that Super Bowl

However Pittsburgh played poorly too, and the refs DID play a part. I’m not saying we would’ve won, but it would’ve been much closer without poor officiating.

The most infuriating thing about that Super Bowl is that as horrible as the officiating was, the Seahawks still should have one.

That’s why I can never really justify bitching about it, because I know full well it’s not what lost the game.

by acblue on Jan 18, 2009 5:54 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

That's what gets me as well.

Even with all those calls, the ’Hawks still had their chances.

by Dukeshire on Jan 18, 2009 5:55 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

I can say we would have won.

We had one TD literally taken away, a completion to the 2 taken away, and Pittsburgh was given a first down to our 2 on a 3rd and 28.

That’s what, a 21 point swing? On three plays.

Does AZ win

make Cowher worth more money next year… his old staff starting to make some noise.

It is what it is...

by kidder95 on Jan 18, 2009 6:19 PM PST reply actions   0 recs

I'll take sip of the 05' hawks better than these two teams...but....

the ravens would have been hell on jeramy stevens with the trash talk…we’d have a hard time getting the steelers off the field on 3rd and long…remember the customs worker in the secondary?

by X Receiver on Jan 18, 2009 7:08 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

Oh no oh no oh no

I just realized how often I’m going to have to hear about Cowher’s coaching tree. And they might have a point, but I’m not looking forward to hearing it 30 million times heading into the SB.

2 story lines

1. Another Stealers vs. “Team from the NFC West that 99% of people don’t care about”

2. Is a bird team winning a Superbowl in fact good for the Seahawks? Only time will tell.

by Hancock.Brett on Jan 18, 2009 7:24 PM PST reply actions   0 recs

Good god, I hate the Steelers.

To the point where I hope every single one of them wither away and die. There simply isn’t anything distinctly likeable about them.

The only...

The only good news that could come of this is Kurt Warner retiring after the Super Bowl. Matt Leinart would be a good thing.
