Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks - Video Preview

HEYOOO!

Star-divide

Last week was just a party.

This week should follow the same path.

Just LSD and people dancing!

And Bears riding Motorcycles!

Kurt Warner's next career.

To bad this is going to be him this sunday.

Hawks win.

A place to bury strangers.

How have I not seen that Kirk on LSD clip before?

Phat Beats.

Also dug for sweet double-mouthed/eyed Battlestar Galactica chicks.

Added awesome with the Sunny

And what the fuck was with the wrestling dudes? Are people really that dumb? And are surprised when they break their coccyx?

They must've been faking it.

It hurts to jump 10 feet down throw a table, but not THAT bad. Plus I wouldn’t be clutching my lower back screaming like a little girl.

Seriously, over the top pussies!

On a side note “I’m now lying on my back, I’m looking for a circumcision, and my penis needs to be wrapped in pure alcohol”. Thanks Cappy Kirk, I have a new phrase now.

Yesterday's Sunny was the best I've seen lately

“My good man, I’ll have your finest milk steak with a side of jellybeans” killed me.

It was definitely the best of the season, so far

Oh Freakazoid

I remember when studios actually cared and put effort into their Saturday morning cartoons…

by BrianL on Oct 16, 2009 12:10 AM PDT reply actions   0 recs

I completely agree.

They’re so terrible nowadays. A whole ton of anime crap, where is the MIB, Ghostbusters, hell even the animaniacs is better than whats on.

by russak on Oct 16, 2009 12:47 AM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

EVEN the animaniacs?

It’s only one of the best kids’ shows ever!

by djafrot on Oct 16, 2009 2:27 AM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

I agree that today's cartoons suck

But I hated every show you listed. I really hated Freakazoid. It’s all about Thundercats, TMNT, Transformers, He-Man, GI JOE, the list goes.

Gimme Beast Wars and X-Men any day.

And all the land was in ruin, and burnination had forsaken the countryside.

Star Blazers.

PERIOD.

Greatest cartoon ever.

Is that the one with this aircraft carrier thing in space?

If not… anyone remember that show? They had a “tiger squadron” or something. Could be wrong.

by djafrot on Oct 16, 2009 12:54 PM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

That's exactly it.

It wasn’t a carrier though, it was a battleship, complete with wave motion gun!

When I was a kid I wanted to be Alex Wildfire!!!

Theme song...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5oniErmeuE

and the closing, which I actually liked lyrically more..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2SQmxC0D9Es

couple great couplets here:

Danger lurking everywhere
But we know we’ve got to dare

Evil men with evil schemes
They can’t destroy all our dreams

We must be strong and brave
Our home we’ve got to save

Through all the fire and the smoke
We will never give up hope

It’s honestly better than most top40 these days, and it’s a cartoon from the 70’s/very early 80’s. That’s a sad indictment of music today, but I’ll throw it down.

X-Men, definitely.

I always had math class Saturday mornings and never really got to watch it as much as I wanted to.

Actually though, this one is my favorite after the always classic Pork Chop Sandwiches!!

What about this guy?

Thundarr the barbarian.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LhAobPugvsk

I realize now the animation sucks, but talk about an active imagination taking this one and running with it. It used to actually scare me while amazing me in Sat. morning cartoons.

Of course, I was only 5, but STILL!

The premise of that show

is pretty cool, plus….the guys name is Thundarr, which is not only bad ass, but will also be my son’s middle name.

Helllllllllllo Nurse!

That line and the Pinky and the Brain were the best on Animaniacs.

Personally, I miss the OG Transformers, Thundercats, He-Man, and good old garfield and freinds. “i’m scared”

I ROCK out with my HAWK out, therefore I am....

Scruff, you are a strange strange little man.

I’m still not sure what it is that I just watched, but I have a feeling it was either a compilation of pure brilliance….
or unquestionable insanity.

Mancrushed. Jake Locker for Heisman 2010.

by whiskey chainsaw on Oct 16, 2009 10:29 AM PDT reply actions   0 recs

I ride a fine line.

Hopefully it will turn out to be brilliance otherwise I’ll just be another guy yelling at the cats shitting in my garden out my bedroom window.

If only someday I could get “Panda Rider” done….. sigh.

NEEDS MORE FREEDOM!

Reminds me of a quote... replace sanity with brilliance and it's even better.

“"Who in the rainbow can draw the line where the violet tint ends and the orange tint begins? Distinctly we see the difference of the colors, but where exactly does the one first blendingly enter into the other? So with sanity and insanity." —Melville

Yeah

I don’t know, if you’re eating nuts and bolts or your own poo, I think you’re violet.

by John Morgan on Oct 16, 2009 11:54 AM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

Yeah, I understand the quote

But the literalist in me wants to punch Melville in the face and tell him exactly what wavelength violet ends on, and orange begins on. “Yeah Ishmael, we actually can quantify light. It’s not insanity, it’s not fucking magic you suicidal old kook. Say hello to Physics!” Then I realize arguing with these opiate filled Nineteenth Century artists is a waste of my time.

by DJ C-Raig on Oct 16, 2009 2:35 PM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

Actually, you're off here.

It was from Billy Budd, not Moby Dick. No Ishmael involved here.

by whiskey chainsaw on Oct 16, 2009 3:13 PM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

True

but I was conversing with Melville outside of his literature, in calling him Ishmael I was being snide. For the record I like me some Melville.

Gotcha.

I suspected as much, but wanted to be a Lit nerd and show my relatively useless knowledge on the matter.

This week is important

We’ve had a bit of a revolving door on the o-line so far, but I’m hoping our new guys provides stability.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BiHVbxRwYV0

If the Hawks can maintain their focus and discipline throughout the game, I think we’ll be in good shape.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uiiyddAmhuw

If we don’t maintain it, though, things could get quite ugly.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XGK_-f9z_J4&feature=related (be warned, SFW, but not for the weak-stomached)

With the Hass back behind center, the Hawks are going to be witnessing some awesome lightning strikes.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gma5IUNMTn0

All in all, this is likely to be an up and down game. I doubt it’ll be decided before the 4th quarter, and while there will always been the potential for a big play for our side, I expect a good number of disappointing plays throughout the day, too.
