There is only room for one crappy QB in Cleveland
October 11th, 2009: The day Justin Forsett became loved by Seahawks fans forever.
Not even interesting
It’s nothing short of stupid, even for speculation.
We already have Teel and would likely draft a QB next year if Hass falls off the deep end. What’s Quinn going to do? Fumble by himself just making a throwing motion in the 4th preseason game?
Branch is tradeable but it makes no sense to do it now and for QUINN of all people that’s just insane.
Branch for all of Oakland’s 2010 draft picks? Oh yeah that’s possible.
The average human being supposedly eats 8 pounds of food per day. Aaron Curry eats 8 humans for breakfast.
I'd do this in a heart beat, but this looks like some fans pipe dream.

Seriously why would you do it in a heartbeat?
October 11th, 2009: The day Justin Forsett became loved by Seahawks fans forever.
Why not?
I like Branch but he doesn’t seem to be a big part of the offense, Quinn is a good talent with what appears to be an awful supporting cast and bad coaching.
Yes but punchable for different reasons
Cutler looks like a stoned honky. Rivers looks like some asshole good ol’ boy from the south who picked on people his whole life and used the “peter principle” to rise to the top of his profession.
Quinn basically looks like an actor that frequently plays Harvard secret society members.
I am with you
on the whole thing I’d do it in a heart beat, but also don’t think it’s something that’s going to happen let alone be discussed. Now if we also sent a pick maybe a 2nd rounder then maybe Cleveland would have some interest.

My biggest concern is sacrificing WR depth
Aside from whether it makes sense for Cleveland or not, last year our WR’s decimated by injuryearly in the year, followed later by the O-line. This year it’s the O-line in shambles (figuratively speaking) and I’m concerned that with injuries to Burleson and Housh, we could find ourselves in the same position we were last year, so keeping Branch is the smart play. Prior to the draft, trading Branch for a pick might make sense, though with his salary we might just have to release him.
Browns fans have told me that Quinn is essentially Trent Edwards.
Weak arm, captain check-down, etc…
My question is, how is someone that muscular have such little arm strength?
"Mayhap a hidden door lurks nigh. Let us search the environs."
Though I wouldn't have a problem adding to our team by trading Branch,
adding Rick Mirer II would cause me to become nauseated to say the least.
NO!
Early prospect watch: RB C.J. Spiller, OT Ciron Black, DT Gerald McCoy, S Eric Berry, DT Ndamukong Suh, CB Ras-I Dowling 6'2, 200, RB Jonathan Dwyer, Sam Bradford*.
You know the author is credible when:
He calls one of next year’s QB prospects ‘Mark’ Bradford…lol

Is Quinn's stock so low that trading him straight up for Branch is realistic?
That’s pretty crazy if true.
Someone, somewhere took your seriously
We’ll see it all over the intarwebs in sixteen hours.
