Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks Game Thread 2

I have to believe in a world outside my own mind. I have to believe that my actions still have meaning, even if I can't remember them. I have to believe that when my eyes are closed, the world's still there. Do I believe the world's still there? Is it still out there?... Yeah. We all need mirrors to remind ourselves who we are. I'm no different.  --Leonard Shelby

I can't see you Seahawks, but I still believe in you.

At Qwest Field. When we were good of course.

why would you play him?

You’re up 45-0. It’s snowing. Remember how they fared without him?

Remember the '07 blowouts? Belichik coaches like a fucking Madden gamer.

I'd punt

the defense is MUCH more likely to score.

So, what do we do if the offense

has to be rebuilt and all our good defense players come up for contract? Are we growing only half a team?

It is what it is...

by kidder95 on Oct 18, 2009 3:21 PM PDT reply actions   0 recs

So, I understand about the offensive line being a bunch of third and fourth stringers

But what’s the explanation for this lousy defense?

Has there been ANY pressure on Warner today from the front four?

by Mr Fish on Oct 18, 2009 3:21 PM PDT reply actions   0 recs

Defense is not that lousy

They were given three short fields to work with.

AZ is capable of getting numbers on anybody

the pressure has been spotty but not non-existent. Warner gets rid of the ball. The offense has done absolutely NOTHING—less than nothing really.

The defense hasn't been that bad.

The offense has given them nothing, and some bad turnovers from the O and special teams. They haven’t been great, but ok.

by MFAN on Oct 18, 2009 3:23 PM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

I've always thought that the advantage of being a fan of a terrible team

is the ability to tune out early in the season when you’re 0-5 or 0-6 and watch other games as a neutral fan.

It’s much more frustrating, I think, when your team keeps showing flashes of brilliance, but loses all the important games. Not only do you end up with the same result, it’s just that much more frustrating at the end.
