Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks Game Thread 2

I have to believe in a world outside my own mind. I have to believe that my actions still have meaning, even if I can't remember them. I have to believe that when my eyes are closed, the world's still there. Do I believe the world's still there? Is it still out there?... Yeah. We all need mirrors to remind ourselves who we are. I'm no different.  --Leonard Shelby

I can't see you Seahawks, but I still believe in you.

The offense has given them nothing, and some bad turnovers from the O and special teams. They haven’t been great, but ok.

by MFAN on Oct 18, 2009 3:23 PM PDT up reply actions

I've always thought that the advantage of being a fan of a terrible team

is the ability to tune out early in the season when you’re 0-5 or 0-6 and watch other games as a neutral fan.

It’s much more frustrating, I think, when your team keeps showing flashes of brilliance, but loses all the important games. Not only do you end up with the same result, it’s just that much more frustrating at the end.

I hate games like this.

you can no sooner get out the phrase “ok, they need to get some points on this drive if they are gonna stay in this game” than they go 3 and out.

So I remember when I was younger I noticed that it seemed like only one Seattle sports franchise could be successful at any given time.

That has generally held true throughout the years. Unfortunately it seems like this year it is going to be the Sonics turn.

Tigers were my first sports love so it's hard to let go.

I wasn’t too much of an NBA fan anymore but I absolutely loved loved loved the Sonics when I was a youngin and I know what their loss meant to their fans, so any chance of me becoming an NBA fan again is pretty much nil.
