Who the hell needs a LT?
They just take up valuable roster spots.
But seriously, does this mean that Lock or Jones or McIntosh are ready or are they just making room for Tru right now and going to re-sign Williams in a week or two?

I'd guess McIntosh will start
If lock isn’t ready

Who's his backup, though?

Lock didn't practice today
we’ve got no idea when he’ll be ready to return.

I'm hoping this means Lock will be ready
But McIntosh can’t be as bad as Williams was on Sunday.

Never ever read comments there.
“Was it Williams fault or perhaps the coaching and scheme?”
It is Tim Ruskell’s fault. Imagine how good a LT would look if he was playing alongside Hutch. I even wonder and this might be a stretch, but maybe not, if Walter wasn’t having to do too much and had Hutch next to him if he may not have had his injuries.

Never tell someone not to do something
Thanks a lot. I had to go and read this
The Seahawks are a mess. Until they bring back Holmgren, this team won’t have an identity.

Well, it was a bad move to change the team
from the “Seattle Holmgrens” to some stupid bird.

I am dumbfounded if someone actually believes that.

Glad they recognized he wasn't worth starting...

I wonder what Ruskell is up to
Seems strange to cut this guy with no one out there and Mora admitting that Walt and Lock may not be ready. Someone must be making a move.

Well they will need a spot for Tru, although that's not for another three weeks
Good point though, wasn’t really thinking about it. They must be looking to add someone for a short time at least.
I also figured on Travis Fisher being the one cut as soon as Tru needed the spot, so I wonder who Ruskell’s looking at.

needed the roster spot for tru to come off the PUP list?
I may be wrong but I believe they needed to free up a roster spot so Tru can practice with the team when they took him off the PUP list.
Can someone shed some light on this?

Yeah, I was wrong, after the first six weeks there is a three week evaluation period
But once he’s placed on the roster, that’s it and somebody else must go. So we do have a full roster right now.
PUP list (Physically Unable to Perform): this list designates players with serious injuries that will keep them from being able to start a season on the 53-man protected list but may be able to return to the roster during the regular season. The players must be placed on this roster at or before the league-wide 65-man summer roster cutdown to be eligible for this designation, and they must stay on this list for at least the first six weeks of the regular season. After this time teams have 3 weeks to evaluate such players after which each such player must be placed on the 53-man roster, season-ending Injured Reserve (IR) or waivers.
