So we can accentuate our small defense with an even smaller offense!

A great way to ensure we get the #1 overall pick required for Barkley.

I wonder if we can hold out that long?
I know I’m biased as a USC fan but man does Barkley look like something special.
[DELETED ZOMG NO POLITICS]
Has Mays demonstrated any cover/ ball skills?
All I see is him blitzing and trying to blow up running plays.
He's fast as hell
so, just sideline to sideline, blowing guys up, he is a cover safety, but ball skills or awareness? I’ve never seen them.
The only example I've seen this season
was his INT against Cal. He was on the wrong side of the endzone and adjust back and made the pick. Few other people would’ve made it cause of the speed. But a good safety wouldn’t have needed to make that adjustment.

Matt Barkley is maturing.
He’s really come a long way in his career.
I'm gonna go calm submissive on your ass.
Do you have a lot of confidence in him?
His coaching staff does.
I'm gonna go calm submissive on your ass.
He does look like the footballs he throws weigh much more than what the other team uses.
I'm gonna go calm submissive on your ass.
I am an admitted Tebow hater
He is too good to be true. But he does love the game. That is important. I think. Still boring.
It is what it is...
He insists upon himself far too much.
In other words, I think he is a douche.
I'm gonna go calm submissive on your ass.
Tebow will carry the weight of the spread world on his shoulders in 2010
If he sucks, many QB’s in college are doomed.
It is what it is...
I don't know,
there so much skepticism he can be a quality QB in the NFL not sure the blowback will be that significant.
I'm gonna go calm submissive on your ass.
The?
No. I actually think if he has even modest success at QB on Sundays there will be a feeling that his potential was underestimated. It’s as though there is some kind of safety net there for his failure in the NFL.
I'm gonna go calm submissive on your ass.
Little would make me happier this weekend than MSU pulling the upset.
I'm gonna go calm submissive on your ass.
I gathered that by your ESPN knock in yesterday's thread.
I loved that, by the way.
I'm gonna go calm submissive on your ass.
If you want to have a bad day
watch a football game with Gator fans and root against them. They make SC people look humble.
It is what it is...
I've been down with Alaskan White recently.
I would venture a guess that is not your style, however.
I'm gonna go calm submissive on your ass.
Florida finishes off MSU
Man, they were game. Florida will seriously have their challenges next year.
It is what it is...
Now that they won't win,
just hang on by 22, please. Thank you.
I'm gonna go calm submissive on your ass.
Might as well subtract Cole's 330.
Maybe Redding’s too, depending on your opinion of him.

What?!?! Wing Street?!?!
Wow! No shit? Pizza Hut? I’m a real person and I’m shocked.
I'm gonna go calm submissive on your ass.
It could be meaningless
With so many teams playing so many seasons things will bunch up without necessarily having and underlying cause.
I am slowly siphoning off this awful Hoptober
One remaining, but I will save that for a drunker time.
I love how his name has become Matt Barkley, Freshman Quarterback.
Enough, we get it. He’s good for any year in school.
I'm gonna go calm submissive on your ass.
Agreed. Absolutely.
But at a point, during the same broadcast, please stop saying it. He doesn’t become any freshmanier the more he says it.
I'm gonna go calm submissive on your ass.

Do you think he'll declare in 2011?
I sure hope not.

At least give the receiver credit for coming back to the ball / QB.
I'm gonna go calm submissive on your ass.
Good job coming back to the ball receiver
Even though your QB had to break two tackles, balance himself with his free hand and drill you between the numbers on the run.
But way to come back, babeh!
It is what it is...
Or, after Barley jumped over / out of the sack, he could have kept running his route and let Barkley scramble back to the line.
It was a great play, but good lord.
I'm gonna go calm submissive on your ass.
Admittedly, I have not been doing this long
but I have been more impressed with Bradley than any quarterback I have ever scouted.
Don't get me wrong, he's impressive. In all the right ways.
And I was blown away how cool he was at the Horseshoe back in September. But there’s more to this game than just him. Truth be told, I get this way anytime one player gets a sensational amount of attention, even if they may deserve it. But he’s got the football world by the short and curlies. For sure.
I'm gonna go calm submissive on your ass.
Just wait until next year when Tebow is gone
I’m a USC fan but even I can admit the Barkley hype is gonna be disgusting.

What?
We’ve seen Morrah, Butler, and Forsett see far more snaps than Holmgren would ever give them.

Gotta give KISS some credit
They have always sucked, and they got rich anyway. That’s gotta count for something.
It is what it is...
I went to the KISS "Returns" tour
My only and last KISS concert. If they had simply come out in their outfits, played one song and left, it would have been the best concert I had ever attended. Unfortunately, they played their entire new album (1996). It was god awful. But I still had fun.

Based on this game alone
I say we bring Canefield in for a look. He has to be better than some of the guys on our PS.
It is what it is...
So small, those Rodgers brothers. They are so brave to play a school like USC given their condition.
Well now, isn't that sad
I’m drinking a bottle of Sho Chiku Bai Sake.
I have drank “Saki” for years, and never spelled the damn thing right. Amazing.
15% alcohol. I’m happy regardless.
It is what it is...
I've had both
when at home, it is too much work to do much more than open the bottle, and pour.
It is what it is...
Aside from big hits, legal and otherwise
I rarely see Mays in on any plays. And it could be just be.
I'm gonna go calm submissive on your ass.
The beauties of time spent downtown Chicago. Came home with
Jolly Pumpkin Luciernaga, JP Bam Biere, and a bottle of Duchesse de Bourgogne for good measure.
Have you been Rosa's Lounge?
Melvin Taylor and his band play on Wednesday nights. It’s a scene.
I'm gonna go calm submissive on your ass.
I think it's a dive and I've never been there,
but I’m a big Melvin Taylor (guitar player. What Buddy Guy used to be) and have only read about it and have had a couple friends go there. I ask everyone from, or who lives in Chicago if they’ve been.
I'm gonna go calm submissive on your ass.
Yeah, I heard that too
And I really dunno. I’ve never heard of it. Rather disturbing saying if it’s real.

Meh
Grind up and reconstitute them into a patty and serve it schools. Probably a better food source than what they serve in schools now.

If Taylor Mays is drafted in the first round
I will laugh very hard. Unless it is Seattle. Don’t be that guy, Tim.
It is what it is...
Oakland will deliver Berry to us.
Berry/Mays is the new Crabtree/DHB

Not in particular, no.
Good athlete and Seattle guy. Might be a good player in the NFL but better odds he won’t. Berry looks clearly better.
But what do I know, I thought Eugene Monroe was the next Chris Samuels.

I think he's saying
That Mays will be drafted by Count Al based on his 40 speed alone. Much like DHB last year. And in doing so the better payed will fall to us.

I watched Berry today
He was OK. He is a thousand times more impressive than Mays, for sure.

Hate him!
And his ’stache, too.

Is it possible for a guy to play for USC, be good and not get enough love?
Cause I think people don’t realize how awesome Damian Williams is. He’s like if you took BMW, Dwayne Jarett and Patrick Turner’s size and couple them with the speed and reliability of Steve Smith.
But I’m gushing.
[DELETED ZOMG NO POLITICS]
Draft USC's LT Charlie Brown
And play him at TE-L next to McIntosh (or Walt if he can come back). Play Lock at LG, Unger at C, Spencer at RG, Willis at RT and Griffith at FB (or get O.Schmitt up to skill at run blocking) and get the ‘93 Blast’ goin again.
