Just effortlessly shoved #61 for Baylor on a shotgun HB draw and made the first hit on the RB for a loss

Baylor's kicker just missed a 28 yard FG. That just about ends their comeback chances.

The kicker was the last to come onto the field. I'm not sure he knew he was coming on to kick!
The holder had waved him on at the last moment.

Not a smart play Suh. Whistle went and he more or less landed a blow to the head of the QB Florence.
I like this Crick guy. Yet another sack for him.

Jevan Snead. Amazing suck.

OH MY GOODNESS!!!
UConn scores with :38 to go up 24-21 against Rutgers.
The next offensive play Rutgers scores on an 81 yard TD and that gives Rutgers the lead with :22 left.
Unbelievable finish.

And holy crap it seems like it takes him forever just to hand the ball off.
Kickers mostly play out their eligbility though.
Who heard of a kicker declaring early. Their prime extends well into their 30s so it makes sense for them to finish their education.

It was a plaque!
I won quite a few by default. I beat out Ruslan, the guy that served in Siberia for killing someone. Singh, who worked 40 hours a week to payoff his car insurance. James Leto, who would smoke crack in the employee bathroom. James, the fill in boss, who was slinging bags over the counter. Etc.
I was a special employee.
The pizzas were fine
I would say we ate about half the ones we made, but you give a driver a bad pizza and they’ll gut you. Ruslan drove. Singh drove.

The leap of faith it would take to make that transformation wouldn’t be worth the risk to me.
For example, what if he gets injured?
I doubt you could have a Tebow-like backup QB
That's a risk I can't see anyone in the NFL taking
They’re kind of risk-averse to begin with
If a franchise was really down and out

Broncos 12 Bengals 7: The story of the 2009 Seattle Seahawks.
It's gonna be all about post-season and workouts with McCoy
There’s a lot you don’t know about how his game translates based on what you see on the field. But, the SOB is really accurate and has good mobility.
As for comments on Tebow earlier, I’m not so sure he’s unique as much as the power version of Vince Young. Young’s faster but a little less powerful.

The power really changes things
Tebow could run up the middle on the pro level. I can’t think of another quarterback in the modern era that could do that.

That deep middle has become so important with the growth of the tight end and slot game
I would draft a safety type and play him at MLB. Invest in a double NT and pass rushing outside linebackers.
Yep.
I was thinking that.
I had this discussion with Brian Burke. The passing game should not be innately more valuable than the run game, but it is in the modern game. I assume that is because modern defenses are built off decades old ideas. Defenses prioritize stopping the run. They shouldn’t.
So many offenses are built off the run game
Seattle’s offense in fact. I wasn’t surprised a great run defense killed us. Just like I wouldn’t be surprised, if Seattle is a great run defense, the Seahawks beating Dallas.
We must make plays on the ball in the air vs Romo
"Those who fear disorder more than injustice inevitably produce more of both." -- Rev. William Coffin
Wilson dropped what looked like a pick 6 against Arizona
be nice to see Seattle tap into that big D play potential they’ve shown this season.
We must dominate on first down and put Dallas into unfavorable down and distance
Bottling up the first down runs and Jasen Whitten in order to create obvious passing downs is an absolute necessity.
We keep them in passing downs and I love our chances in this game.
"Those who fear disorder more than injustice inevitably produce more of both." -- Rev. William Coffin
Smother the run
I think putting them into unfavorable down and distance is about killing the run. Best run O in football by DVOA and it’s not close. Put them in bad down and distance by destroying their backs, and Romo will panic throw.
Indeed it is. I wonder what my neighbors think.
I’m ordinarily very quiet.

It's worth saying, overall, the passing offenses in the SEC are really, really bad.

Now I really hope the Vikings draft him.
The combined Tebow/Favre jabber would make me leap from a bridge.
I think the Titans picked up Booty.
Odds on him starting for Tennessee before the season is over: 1: 3
That means there’s a vacancy.

Oatmeal Stout is my favorite dark beer.
No doubt. That might just be my easy access to Samuel Smith’s. I haven’t bought beer somewhere nicer than New Seasons in ~9 months.
I shall be sampling a Southern Tier Cherry Saison later.
Fruit is not generally my cup of beer, but I’d been meaning to try Southern Tier so I just grabbed up a few of them.
I have not liked fruit in my beer
but perhaps the beer was bad. It doesn’t strike me as a bad combination. Especially cherry.
In fact, I can’t think of a beer I’ve had that was fruit-flavored. Maybe my whole fruit beer experience is confabulation.
The key for me is how much fruit used. In sours, some sour cherry is important for developing that tartness.
Pyramid Apricot is juice, but a hint here or there is probably good.
Not wild about Pyramid
I group that in with Red Hook and most of Widmer as microbrews that are mini-macrobrews.

Germans occasionally took shots at American beer, saying it was mixed with all sorts of crazy stuff. This often happened at cafes that served Radler or Bananaweizen.

Out here in the South East
We are watching the newest buzz in quarterbacking: Zac Robinson
It is what it is...
I watched Jason Fox and Brandon Ghee this afternoon
Fox is my favourite OT. He can play either side, has a great kick slide, is tenacious, good feet. Sweet.
It is what it is...
I don't get all the Colt McCoy hate
He has a nice release, and arm strength comparable to Hasselbeck.

It seemed like he had fallen off earlier this season.
But apparently he was sick or something and since he’s been healthy he’s back to form.

If we let Tapp go and draft an End in the first
I will be really, really, really not impressed.
It seems like it's a disadvantage to draft a guy who's 'raw' but has potential
if by the time he starts to be really useful, he’s already hit FA and you have to pay him market value anyways.
Depending on the rawness, that's certainly a concern.
This isn’t baseball where a team can stash a guy in the minors almost indefinitely.

I heard the worst argument for Locker staying in school today on the radio.
Someone argued that if he were drafted that he’d be a 3rd stringer and when he finally started in his 3rd year in the NFL, he’d be no better off (or better) than if he were starting in the NFL now.
I don’t know how people in radio get their jobs. A team isn’t going to pay a guy $10 million a year and then just forget about him and not give him great coaching.
Who is number 2 on the Trojans?
I find it hard to believe that they have defensive players that aren’t amazing.
This isn't a 'nightmare' in Oregon.
Oregon is a hell of a team. A top 5 team in my opinion. It’s not as if they’re unranked.
Yeah, they keep talking as if Oregon

Southern Tier Cherry Saison... meh.
Not well balanced and the Saison-y yeastiness is somewhat covered by the cherry, which sort of lays on the development of the flavor like a rug.
I'm enjoying it less with every sip. The cherry flavor is too artificial and the finish is a mixture of spicy and almost bitter.

It's my favorite genre.
My absolute favorite is Pete Philly and Perquisite, a Dutch duo (it’s all in English) who are fantastic. Two albums. One is a concept album (Mind.State) where each song perfectly captures a state of mind, like Paranoid, both in music and lyric.
You will want to listen to the rest of that album. It's a fantastic concept album.
Mystery Repeats is also a phenomenal album. Great lyrics, great flow, great music. Perquisite (the DJ) plays cello and incorporates that into their stuff.
Broke up? Not that I know of.
Tebow is a missionary for Christ, I’m a missionary for Pete Philly and Perquisite. There can’t be more than a thousand people that know who they are in the States, and I’m betting I’m the cause of at least 100 of those.
From their Myspace.
PEOPLE, IT’S OFFICIAL: WE’RE GONNA QUIT AS A DUO! WE’RE BOTH GONNA WORK ON SOLO PROJECTS SO AFTER THE FINAL CELEBRATION TOUR THERE WILL BE NO MORE PETE & PERQ SHOWS! PLEASE DON’T MISS OUT ON THIS LAST OPPORTUNITY TO SEE US LIVE: WE WILL PLAY IN 16 DIFFERENT THEATRE’S ACCROSS THE NETHERLANDS WITH OUR 13-PIECE LIVE FORMATION AND FOR MOST SHOWS TICKETS ARE STILL AVAILABLE. CHECK OUT THE DATES ABOVE AND HURRY UP FOR YOUR TICKET! HOPE TO SEE YOU AT ONE OF OUR FINAL SHOWS!
This is a recent and sad revelation.
I’m still mad. They have played 4 shows in the US. Two were in 2006 before I knew who they were, and two were at SXSW in Austin last year on the same weekend I flew to Chicago to interview for school. I would have gone to that concert otherwise.
So track down Mystery Repeats and Mind.State.
Both are worth owning without question, and whatever Pete Philly does in the future will be worth following.
Check out Mellow, too.
It’s Pete Philly and his girlfriend in a duet, a great show of his abilities.
So importing CDs is incredibly expensive
hopefully I’ll remember this the next time I’m near itunes.
Two things:
The guy in the video is plucking a cello, when it’s clear that a bow is touching a string somewhere (could be a violin). Why not show that guy as well?
Also, he’s no Will Smith.

There is still a lot of good hip hop out there, but you have to look for it. It’s a shame that Common Market have day jobs while Unk and Souljah Boy chuckle their grillz off.
