Be Thankful For What We Have

Jordan Babineaux had a pretty good game Sunday afternoon. As John pointed out in his recap, today Babs finally began to look like a legitimate NFL free safety.

Here's an old friend of ours who still doesn't look the part. Gif under the cut!

Helped me win Fantasy today. I think I see some of his grit smeared on Johnson’s shoulder pads.

Nah

That’s probably poop because Chris Johnson just shit all over him.

Lets get Schmitt Faced!

How Johnson breaks tackles is beyond me.

Maybe it’s because his legs look like spaghetti and he just slips them out.

Early prospect watch: RB C.J. Spiller, OT Ciron Black, DT Gerald McCoy, S Eric Berry, DT Ndamukong Suh, CB Ras-I Dowling 6'2, 200, RB Jonathan Dwyer, Sam Bradford*.

Force = mass x velocity

Emphasis on the velocity part.

by Brendan Scolari on Nov 2, 2009 3:24 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

Force = mass x acceleration

Momentum = mass x velocity

According to Andy Behrens, from Roto Arcade, in describing this play:

Mass + acceleration = shame.

He also describes running over BRuss as it were some great feat and not just a predictable result of BRuss being in ones path:

It’s never really a surprise to see him outrun defenders to the end zone, since the man has 4.24 speed. But if he’s going to lower his helmet and run over NFL safeties…well, that’s just unfair.

Yeah

Knew I should have put that. Anyway, Johnson usually breaks tackles because it’s so hard for defenders to get their hands on him.

Its also hard to wrap up

when you lead with your helmet and bring up your arms as an afterthought.

It's not that he doesn't try to wrap up his tackles

it’s just that his arms are too damned slow

by Mr Fish on Nov 1, 2009 10:46 PM PST reply actions   0 recs

Is it just me or did he turn his head downward

so that he looked at CJs feet while trying to wrap up?

More of that to come

Its been seven games now and for the first time all year the Babineaux move is looking to be obviously the right one. There will need to be more of this move that happens in the off-season. Where the Hawks get rid of players who just haven’t become the players they need to be, and those who get to replace them need to show their value.

There are others who would be in the same category as he.

Wow.

I taped the game and watched last night. I saw terrible tackling. It didn’t dawn on me that The Gritmaster was responsible. Now, I’ll have to watch it again.

It sure was fun to see the MJD-Chris Johnson show. Mike Thomas and Dillard were involved, too. Both are guys I’ve been keeping an eye on.

Sweet Georgia Brown!

If Russell were a basketball player, he would be on whatever team was playing against the Globetrotters on a particular night.

I vow to never post a cartoon picture of spurting diarrhea on a credible blog.

Please leave Tennessee and come to the Bay…

You should have been careful what you wished for

He’s coming to the Bay this very Sunday! Bye Niners.

Exactly!

Throw a net over him and don’t let him leave! :-)

How bad can you get but still have a spot in this league?

He would be well out if he hadn’t picked off 9 (how the hell did he do that anyway?) that one year.

The Hawks should be better.

Because he makes important plays

…..For the other team.

He and Denard Walker were responsible for this play.
