MNF - Open Thread
There's a little space in every fan's heart for Atlanta at New Orleans. And if the football isn't enough, you can use this thread for fantasy discussion, discussion on naming cats, philosophical pondering if the yellow I see is the yellow you see, and debate whether the moon is, in fact, a hoax. It is.

I'm going to watch this game and imagine
how sick it would be if we had the Saints offense and Drew Brees with our D.
That's NASA fabrication
pure nonsense. Tell me one person that has actually been to the moon. No one I know. No one I’ve met.
I met this dude on one time who was eating Moon Pies.
Explain that, hater.

I wonder what the over/under is on a Sharper return TD
Early prospect watch: RB C.J. Spiller, OT Ciron Black, DT Gerald McCoy, S Eric Berry, DT Ndamukong Suh, CB Ras-I Dowling 6'2, 200, RB Jonathan Dwyer, Sam Bradford*.
Could be: Probably
Early prospect watch: RB C.J. Spiller, OT Ciron Black, DT Gerald McCoy, S Eric Berry, DT Ndamukong Suh, CB Ras-I Dowling 6'2, 200, RB Jonathan Dwyer, Sam Bradford*.
Saints are an example of a team with only 1 good linebacker (Vilma).
Don’t tell Frog.

I don't think he's in the box
I think he’s broken free and hunting down Aaron Curry as we speak.
Can’t wait until Curry makes a fool out of MoMo (And I liked MoMo).

I still deny it
He broke free from his solitary confinement and began a military-style storming of the Seahawks FO.

Not quite a bust but not a good player either.

Question about the Seahawks
Someone mentioned it in one of the post-game posts, but should the Hawks switch to a 3-4? And do you think Mebane could make a good nosetackle? I think it’s an interesting idea. I haven’t really given it much thought but what do you guys think?

haha, sorry was feeling crass
Didn’t Mebane lose weight for this year and you’d be asking him to put it back on? I remember that discussion somewhere. I think we’d have a pretty sad 3 man front
I'd be against it for the time being. While we have, in theory, an abundance of linebackers,
it isn’t really the right fit.
You need the hybrid freak outside linebacker/ends to make it work to go along with a nose tackle and two actual ends capable of holding the point. We are more saturated with coverage-strong linebackers, and it would require some retooling of the line.
I agree and disagree
I am also against it for the time being. But given our linebacker situation, isn’t it a legitimate discussion? Hill can rush the passer, and if Curry develops his pass-rushing skills, that would be one sick linebacking corps. Maybe not for next year but who knows, down the road we might. Anyways, that’s another discussion. Lets watch some Monday Night Football!

What about Green Bay?
Granted their secondary has been good, but aren’t their defensive ends average?

That offensive line is beastly.

Can you consider that last play good blocking?
But yes their line is beastly.
That was a great effort by Thomas and pathetic tackling by Jackson.

I need Brees to score less than 40 points in my fantasy league
and he’s one of the few that still make me think it could happen
I just need the Saints defense to get 12 points
Broncos 12 Bengals 7: The story of the 2009 Seattle Seahawks.
depending how your league is scored
that could be really tough for them
Well I have points thanks to the sacks
Broncos 12 Bengals 7: The story of the 2009 Seattle Seahawks.
Imagine that. A blitz that WORKS.
Early prospect watch: RB C.J. Spiller, OT Ciron Black, DT Gerald McCoy, S Eric Berry, DT Ndamukong Suh, CB Ras-I Dowling 6'2, 200, RB Jonathan Dwyer, Sam Bradford*.
If it's the Seahawks I see 6 of them trying to pick it up and the Saints fall on it at the 3 instead
Broncos 12 Bengals 7: The story of the 2009 Seattle Seahawks.
We're not smart enought to pull off a blitz like that.
Early prospect watch: RB C.J. Spiller, OT Ciron Black, DT Gerald McCoy, S Eric Berry, DT Ndamukong Suh, CB Ras-I Dowling 6'2, 200, RB Jonathan Dwyer, Sam Bradford*.
Yes we can pull off a blitz like that
But we’re missing the Russell whiff and that’s an integral part of our game.

May I be the first? Yes.

Maybe I'm wrong and someone can correct me
but is Roundtable’s strategy to overcharge for pizzas and see how long people buy their product out of ignorance or vanity?
They're better than Domino's or Pizza Hut, at least.
Pizza Hut pizzas are unbelievably salty and Domino’s sauce tastes like raspberry jam.
I find Pizza Hut pizza to be repulsive, but at least it's consistent.
Roundtable churns out variably burnt crap.
Pizza Hut sucks

My fantasy team lost by one point
Because Roddy White couldn’t get oen more catch in the 4th quarter. I hate the force out rule… and reviewing touchdown catches… and poorly thrown balls when a receiver is wide open….
Roddy helped me win.
