So, did I read this right
Hasselbeck did not hurt his shoulder on the tackle against Detroit, but it was a preexisting injury?
by John Morgan on Nov 22, 2009 1:29 PM PST reply actions 0 recs
I heard that on the radio last week.
Something’s up, because that is not what the story was originally.
by BrianL on Nov 22, 2009 1:30 PM PST up reply actions 0 recs
Apparently Mora admitted that in the presser after the Arizona game.
by BrianL on Nov 22, 2009 1:30 PM PST up reply actions 0 recs
Well
I shouldn’t have speculated about his injury, but I am glad I questioned when it happened. I think it’s an outsiders job to question the team.
by John Morgan on Nov 22, 2009 1:31 PM PST up reply actions 0 recs
Leading his team from behind
again, even against the Browns, this is a big day for Stafford. To think, he’s in the objectively worst age group for a quarterback.
by John Morgan on Nov 22, 2009 1:31 PM PST reply actions 0 recs
21

I do think Seattle wanted Stafford
Fort what that’s worth.
by John Morgan on Nov 22, 2009 1:34 PM PST up reply actions 0 recs
If true I do find that rather comforting.
by BrianL on Nov 22, 2009 1:35 PM PST up reply actions 0 recs
I agree.
That lends hope of landing a QB this off-season.
by Misfit74 on Nov 22, 2009 1:36 PM PST up reply actions 0 recs
More than that it would point out that the front office and staff recognizes Matt's on the decline and QB needs addressing.
by BrianL on Nov 22, 2009 1:38 PM PST up reply actions 0 recs
If they don't know that,
and Ruskell has always waited a season too long to address the offense, they are blind. I know Hasselbeck is beloved, but he’s awful. I cringe watching him.
by John Morgan on Nov 22, 2009 1:40 PM PST up reply actions 0 recs
The thought of watching Matt decline for another season without the position being addressed makes me ill.
by BrianL on Nov 22, 2009 1:45 PM PST up reply actions 0 recs
I'm pretty fed up already.
I think Ruskell may have a defense bias. In that, he innately values defense over offense and is prone to overvalue defensive talent.
by John Morgan on Nov 22, 2009 1:46 PM PST up reply actions 0 recs
I don't think I've ever been as nervous about an approaching off-season as I am about this one.
by BrianL on Nov 22, 2009 1:49 PM PST up reply actions 0 recs
I think Ruskell is back for sure
Hard to drop him when the talent he’s acquired has been good and he just now has his coaching staff in place, but I could see the organization regretting it.

So you know how they went to the Denver game during OT, right?
Well, my roommate here in Denver was watching the Fox OT? game with the Giants and he got the “Due to contractual obligations we take you to your other game” line…
Except there was no other game. However, some Poker Stars type show was on, so he got to catch that instead of the end of a tight game.
