A Question From A Buccaneers Fan
Recently since the demotion of Jim Bates as Tampa's DC, it has come to light that he was not the first choice of new head coach Raheem Morris, Apparently his first choice was Dan Quinn. now I don't follow the Seahawks and I'm sure not many of you follow the Bucs, but what I was wondering what if any difference would this have made in our defensive struggles this year. Would this guy have been a better fit for our players? Your GM is a former Buccaneer employee and he wouldn't let Quinn go to the Buccaneers.

It was Jim Mora who wanted Dan Quinn.
I don’t think any of us could really answer you how much of a difference Dan Quinn would have made, but I’ll say this: He’ll have trained his defensive players to get off the snap as fast as humanly possible.
Sam Bradford, future Seattle Seahawk.
I agree with Carl....
Hard to tell exactly. The Seahawks run has improved this year, but I cant tell how much of it is Mebane’s maturation and how much of it may be Dan Quinn.

His strength seems to lie
in finding “diamond in the rough” type players. Cheap defensive players that will play well above their pay grade.
