Augh another Sunday with only the Bears game showing early.
Here’s the best part: Joe and Troy with the call. Eat shit, NFL distribution. Eat my shit.
Looks like he cheap shoted Duece Letui(sp?) well after the play was over.
Punched him in the helmet or something.
SEA!
Gross.

Anyone else watching Falcons-Skins?
The Falcons did the scream/yell/shift/have no intention of snapping the ball in hopes of drawing an offside thing and it actually worked!

I agree with this, but what makes you say it?
I’ve always wanted to hear a true, objective analysis of why he’s not as good as people think. Is it surrounding cast? Or what?

Email me with details when your plans become clearer (dates, destinations, length of stay).
Those 3 are absolute, just let me know.
I'm gonna go calm submissive on your ass.

He was pretty solid in college.
He doesn’t screw up very much.
So apparently Sears Tower is now called Willis Tower.
When the hell did this happen?
On pace for about 700 pass yards and 4 TDs
"Its not that I can't read and write, its just that I don't like to read and write."
-Charlie
Or Indy holding Houston scoreless
With two DBs put on IR this week.
"Its not that I can't read and write, its just that I don't like to read and write."
-Charlie
He's got to get away from the sideline,
nevermind the fact that the WR had to cut towards the sideline to avoid the jam.
I can't stand Welker or Polamalu.
I’m fine with Warner and Romo, Romo was too good to us in 2006.
SEA!
How so?
Karma police, arrest this man.

I'd be pretty shocked if it happened.
Raiders, Lions, Rams, Bucs, Skins, Chiefs, Titans are all worse.
SEA!
You really think the Hawks will struggle enough to draft ahead of all of those awful teams?
The Browns? The Rams? The Lions?
There are 8 or so guys I'd love to pick,
As long as we’re bottom 8.
3 QBs
2 DTs
3 OT (Okung, Bulaga, Williams)
Someone will bite on Dunlap (like Tyson Jackson)
Someone will bite on Dez Bryant.
I think it's funny watching the Bears melt down. After all the screaming about how all they need is a QB,
and that the defense was still elite, it’s pretty clear that the defense is weak/old/bad and the offense is Cutler in a kindergarten scheme with minimal talent. What sayest thee now, fat Bears fan?
Palmer's pretty good
When healthy.
"Its not that I can't read and write, its just that I don't like to read and write."
-Charlie
I hate this trick play stuff, but damn is it effective.
I would’ve thought a speedy back like Slaton would be needed though.
When will the Bears realize Lovie and Babich need to go?
The defending of Grossman time and time again combined with Ron Turner leaving set them back.
Fire Bruce DeHaven.
Ron Turner really needs to go.
The worst part for the Bears is that they don’t pick until the 4th round this year. Whoops.
I hope there's a good stream up for the Hawks game.
I have to turn off this Bears game on account of it’s hard to watch and listen to.
I would have to watch him more as a pro
but it sounds like scouts were right to question his athleticism.
Antrell Rolle just about took a blocked FG back the distance
Made about 5 Bears miss, but got tripped up by Gould.
His crutch words or phrases are as follows:
Artificial surface (there is no such thing), nanosecond and extra-curricular activity.
I'm gonna go calm submissive on your ass.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand they're brawling in Atlanta.

Heard same. Don't know if coach or GM talk.
or both. I don’t see it. He’ll wait until better jobs open up.
So somehow Ryan Moats has a -70 yards reception on his stat line
Does anyone know how that happened?

Bobby Engram ran crossing patterns too
but he was more athletic, more physically prepared for the savagery of the NFL.
So Welker "pales in comparison" to Bobby Engram?

It's not bad. It is insanely spread out and people are terrible drivers.
I miss good beer (I’ve only been here for three months.) There is a lots of live music to be had, so that is always good. I don’t appreciate the country music so much, plus the stuff here is the “pop country” which is endlessly annoying.
The people are nice enough. There are a lot of people from other parts of the country. Almost everyone I meet moved from another state.
I won’t live here permanently, my girlfriend is at Vanderbilt for Nurse Practitioner school, but it is not so bad temporarily.
Everything is fried!

There is a building that looks like Batman.
The downtown Honky Tonk scene is very interesting. Every single bar has a live show (No Covers!), and a lot of them are very good musicians, often studio musicians for the various record labels. East Nashville is a cool counter-culture type area. There are all sorts of Civil War sites around and some really old towns.
It would be a neat place to visit I’m sure. I find really interesting places quite often.

They're pretty good
They’ve got a lot of malty character.
"Its not that I can't read and write, its just that I don't like to read and write."

And I don't know how to really describe it
but the hops have a different quality than you normally find in a NW IPA. You get less grapefruit flavor.
Speaking of Dogfish, this is a pretty interesting video of the brewers making a Chica:

I'm going to throw this out there
So I was contacted by someone and I might have something published in the fall and my idea is to interweave Field Gulls into it…
Anyone in the area interested in hosting a traveling blogger for a Sunday?
Well
I want to contact readers and see if they would host me for a Sunday. I want to travel to 12th men in Anchorage and Boise and wherever. I will be in Seattle quite a bit, but I have my own accommodations.
In that case, the SF bay area and Las Vegas are sure fire hook ups for you as well.

Not sure if you're heading out east
But I can put you up in Philadelphia.
Portand hate the Seahawks
You’d have a hard time finding the score on Monday after a game, but you can follow the Blazers or the Ducks in June.

You'd hope he'd be able to gain some yardage

I have a really hard time following soccer
I can figure when teams score and how much the ball is on one side of the field or another, but the action in between seems really stochastic to me.

I think you could argue about Terrill
We need the LB and CB depth a lot more than the DL depth.
"Its not that I can't read and write, its just that I don't like to read and write."
-Charlie
How are we going to field a defensive backfield without Fisher?
What would we have done if he’d lost a 3rd LB to injury?
When we lost Bennett, we were still in contention. You don’t give up contention for an undrafted rookie who showed flashes of promise in the preseason.
"Its not that I can't read and write, its just that I don't like to read and write."
-Charlie
We use it a fair amount
but I don’t know if that would help our LB-shortage.
"Its not that I can't read and write, its just that I don't like to read and write."
-Charlie
I don't remember what roster we had at the time
But I think Leroy was hurt and Lofa was hurt or questionable. We would have had Curry, Hawthorne and Herring, I think, in the LB corps. That’s a pretty shallow pool for special teams and one player away from only fielding 2 LBs. We needed an LB at depth who could fill in at ST and knew the defensive schemes.
"Its not that I can't read and write, its just that I don't like to read and write."
-Charlie
Also Laury, who has been in the system for a while.
I don’t have a problem with D.D. Lewis being on the roster, but I think he easily should of been cut over Bennett.

it's true.
but, baltimore hadn’t allowed a 100yard rusher in yearS before this season benson, peterson started it off.
I guess they're missing their NT
Your 3-4 defense is going to get run all over if you’re missing the big guy up front.
