Scenes From a Marriage at Qwest Field

Note to married couples who get crazy drunk before game time, then go to Seahawks games: It's not the forum to air out your marital problems.

Note to husband: Stop picking fight with new guy every week.

Note to wife: Please stop touching my leg.

Note to Qwest Field: I think we'd like that seat upgrade next season, whaddaya think?

I feel your pain, Shrug.

There’s a group of people who sit about four rows in front of us who are always arguing (I think they know each other, but are for some reason confrontational with each other) with a group of people who sit two rows behind us. This always leads to shouts of “SHUT THE FUCK UP!” from the people down below, and food throwing from the people behind us.

I wish people would just enjoy the game.

I will smash your face into a jelly.

Oh, and there were yells of "MARGOT SUCKS BALLS!" from the people behind us.

I swear to god, these people don’t come to the game to watch football. They come to the game for the social aspect of it. But they have season tickets! They’re there every fucking week.

I will smash your face into a jelly.

I got kicked out of Safeco for being too loud....

during the 116 win season. I have not been back to Safeco since. I prefer football where I can be a little more boisterous.

I ROCK out with my HAWK out, therefore I am....

I love our seats in the 300 level

The guy who was in this dude’s seats last year was a great heckler, a very friendly and chatty guy who nonetheless let the blue streaks fly. Classic veteran. I was actually looking forward to finally getting his name this season, but he either moved or got disgusted with the 4-12.

The guy who took his place, though, is Anger Mismanagement Personfied. He comes to football games to be angry. There was no reason to be angry at the Jacksonville game. He was consummately pissed off.

I just keep high-fiving the guy mainly for the psychological buffer zone.

I think we got it with the 4-12 reference.

I have never sat higher than the 100 level but I wouldn’t mind. being up that high helps to see the play develop.

that is very true

I went to family night at Safeco for a friends going away deal back in June. We sat in the Left Field Bleachers at the very top and were completely surrounded by families. Everyone was drunk and insulting Yuni all night and we didn’t get tossed(somehow).

I wouldn't know...

I have only been to 3 games at Safeco. Was never really a fan of baseball. I liked playing when I was in my youth but I find it boring to watch.

Who’s wife?
If my wife was touching your leg I’d be picking fights too! :)

with your wife right?

because if my wife was touching some other guys leg it would be her fault not his.

if there is alcohol involved sure

but if not you could use logic to determine who was at fault.

look at it this way

If some woman started touching your leg and her huge bodybuilder boyfriend / husband noticed, would you stick around and explain your innocence or get the fuck out?

I’d do the latter.

His wife

I was not encouraging it, since my wife was to my immediate left, and neither of us are that experimental anymore.

Also,

This was the first game his wife attended this season, or at least the first time I saw her.

She also drunkenly yelled “Seahawks!” during the moment of silence (not sure if that was for the Fort Hood victims or Officer Brenton). She yelled “Seahawks!” again during the national anthem. She was the 12th Man’s own Courtney Love.
