Its crazy to think how many yards Warren Moon would’ve thrown for if he didn’t start in the CFL.

Nice Mora pick.

The potential captions are endless.

This.

I made a horrible decision

And argued with guys from Seahawk Addicts.

This is a sample comment:

how many tds has and QB thrown forom on thier back not only that, This zone blocking shit he cannot have any pocket to step into to get the trow off.hass still throws a great pass and I would take him over 90% of the others in the league that is why he is so frustrated and has to throw to the checkdowns pay attention folks without hass we are 0-13 right now. well maybe that would be better.

Talking some sense into those guys is impossible.

Post game show.

What the hell is wrong with Hugh Millen’s face. Beyond the normal ugly. It looks like he went to Mexico, got a sun burn, face peeled and they tried to cover it up with make up. HD is not your friend Hugh

Don't watch that show.

Furness will inexplicably say Hasselbeck was phenomenal.

Guy is just stupid

He still thought Shaun was incredible when he would crumble 3 yards before contact.

by Ovreel on Dec 13, 2009 1:40 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

I used to like him

But now he’s just abominable.

I can’t believe Dick Fain got laid off initially.

Romo is one of those players I love to see get smacked around.

Somehow I think its attached to the fact that douche bags like him get to sleep with women like Jessica Simpson.

by Menthu Ra on Dec 13, 2009 1:45 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

Rivers you idiot

You don’t throw it deep to a receiver who didn’t get separation. Do like Hass does and check it down.

I feel like such a terrible Hawk fan

I didn’t even watch the whole game :(

I couldn’t take it anymore right after the start of the 2nd half.

Our offense is straight up hard to watch.

The demise of the Broncos in '09 is our future. Pray hard.

LOL at the Mora picture.

I can’t help stop thinking of Christian Bale’s rant…

“OOOOHHHHHHHHHHH…. RIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGHT!”

Nice play, Rivers

Heck of a play by Newman but that was slow.

Figure this is as good a time as any to say

I do not like Jim Mora as a head coach. That picture about sums up my entire thoughts about the guy.

by John Morgan on Dec 13, 2009 2:21 PM PST reply actions   0 recs

Maybe as a motivator you can like him?

I don’t mind him but he’s no Holmgren.

ME! BANE!

by SSreporters on Dec 13, 2009 2:22 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

Hard to judge Mora's ability to judge talent or construct a playbook

but, as a leader, he is failing. Players tune out yelling when it’s your only way to motivate.

by John Morgan on Dec 13, 2009 2:30 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

His Leadership Skills Are Absent

Spags, now there is a leader.

It is what it is...

by kidder95 on Dec 13, 2009 2:35 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

I like Spags.

It’s a shame that he’ll probably end up getting fired before St.Louis rises up from the ashes.

by MFAN on Dec 13, 2009 2:36 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

I don't see him failing

He needs to make a move at QB, but his D is playing hard. If he gets “his” guys, I would trust him with a 3 year plan.

Each moment does not define him. Mora would be wise to do the same. Mora is too much like a fan; like me. Reactionary. ‘Reactionists’ lack vision.

It is what it is...

I asked in the other thread, but is there anyone you have your eye on?

The media keeps pounding Cowher, Gruden, Holmgren into everyone’s brain, but I’m curious if you think there are any good up and comers to watch out for. Someone like a Bill Davis in AZ or Jason Garret perhaps?

SEA!

by MFAN on Dec 13, 2009 2:24 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

Dan Quinn

but I haven’t done a ton of research. I figure: first the GM, then everything else.

by John Morgan on Dec 13, 2009 2:25 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

The night game looks fun

and in time for some beer. By then I think I will be able to enjoy football again. I am kind of numb for Chargers-Cowboys.

Wow, Gradkowski is not bad

Lefeavore (sp?)

It is what it is...

by kidder95 on Dec 13, 2009 2:45 PM PST reply actions   0 recs

I think so

Tomlinson is a bit below average now and Jones is younger, tougher and fitter.

by John Morgan on Dec 13, 2009 3:01 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

Also

the Chargers run more of a power run game and that would minimize his problem finding holes.

by John Morgan on Dec 13, 2009 3:02 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

Ahh, what Norv could do with Seattle's talent

It would be good, I would think.

It is what it is...

by kidder95 on Dec 13, 2009 3:03 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

I don't think coaching is the problem

not that the coaching is good, but I think Turner would struggling just as badly.

by John Morgan on Dec 13, 2009 3:08 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

Hmm. Then we need Denver's Plan

I’ve been mightily impressed with the “Arrogant” one.

It is what it is...

by kidder95 on Dec 13, 2009 3:10 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

So as long as the team wins now

even if it’s not a contender in any meaningful way, you wouldn’t mind an idiot coach that moves great talent because of his own ego?

Losing Jay Cutler doesn’t just hurt this year.

by John Morgan on Dec 13, 2009 3:22 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

I think my perception of him will forever be tainted

by watching him stick with an injured Kyle Orton long after the game was out of control.

Thanks.

I’ve had it with this season for Seattle. I finally broke down and did it.

I watched our 20-6 win over the Bucs on opening day two years ago

And noticed Holmgren ran a flea-flicker. I think it was MoMo flipping it to Hass almost immediately after receiving the handoff. Hasselbeck got sacked by Jermaine Phillips.

When is the last time a Holmgren “trick play” worked?

This was a choice they had to make.

But it’s not going to happen with league MVP Chris Johnson running roughshod.

This.

It’s about time I wrote a fire sermon about the way the NFL protects its players. I hate this shit.

When I bitched at Hasselbeck for checking down despite the Seahawks winning

I did not know it would become his only pass. I wonder how messed up his shoulder is. I was calling out his arm strength last season, but it has declined so much, so fast.

by John Morgan on Dec 13, 2009 4:00 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

His overthrow to Branch looked like a pretty good indicator of that.

He compensated for his lack of arm by just lobbing it out there early. He must be in a world of hurt.

At some point, you need to realize Seattle has little if any talent at key postions

I like your positive attitude, but it becomes a farce when it is delussional

It is what it is...

by kidder95 on Dec 13, 2009 4:10 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

You need to realize your opinion is not gospel

We can disagree about Seattle’s talent, but don’t discount someone’s opinion because it disagrees with yours.

I don't believe in the health card

Health is not luck

It is part luck and part the construction of one’s body. Marcus Tubbs was no merely unlucky.

by John Morgan on Dec 13, 2009 4:15 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

Your opinion

At the NFL level, most knee injuries have to do with other’s and a position one is left in: Willis McGahee a prim example. I digress.

I’ll be the first to admit I’m not a fan of Curry, and the bandwagon for him due to his lofty pick makes me ill. He is Mike Mamula to me, and that makes me sad.

I don’t have much to offer from a positove, so I’ll stop for a bit.

Much thanks.

It is what it is...

by kidder95 on Dec 13, 2009 4:22 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

Not sure what you mean by McGahee

He has a traumatic knee injury in college and has had injury and effectiveness problems as a pro.

by John Morgan on Dec 13, 2009 4:31 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

Shaq has taken a tremendous beating over the years but has been almost entirely healthy.

Oden can’t play 10 games without something snapping.

People get huge for reasons. A key factor in that is soft tissue development, and there is a genetic lottery to be won. Go look up Ehlers Danlos syndrome or Marfan syndrome. Growing tall can happen because your connective tissue doesn’t hold you back like it should. That leads to problems.

by abender20 on Dec 13, 2009 4:42 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

I think this goes back to the team having so many needs.

This team needs a QB, T, DE, etc. This is actually why I’m fine with Curry. Seattle isn’t at a point to draft for need, and this is why I take Suh in a heart beat no matter what QB is there.

SEA!

by MFAN on Dec 13, 2009 4:10 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

Just to add.

You can make a case for Orakpo, Monroe, Crabtree, Sanchez, Curry and whoever, but none of them would of made Seattle a contender this season.
