Holmgren meets with Browns, discuss Director of Football Ops position
I understand this is only slightly on-topic. It's interesting, however, as Holmgren is a "fan favorite" as the Hawks' next GM.
Since the Hawks org is obviously doing it's due diligence, so Holmgren is probably doing the same.
But if there's any merit to it, it's interesting to note that he's willing to fly all the way to Cleveland to meet with the Browns to discuss the position. If he really felt he had a shot at Seattle's GM position, would he even entertain a trip to Cleveland (or even the thought of re-locating his family to that ... uh ... 'lovely' city?)

And anyway it's not the city it's the legacy
I was going to say, of the franchise, but, of the Browns. Not that it’s meaningful in the slightest, but the Browns are the closest thing right now to what Green Bay was when Holmgren went there.

Thats a good point
He could be a hero in Cleveland. In Seattle he’d have to deal with a different set of expectations and would probably have a tougher job ahead of him too.
