It’s obvious they only had a courtesy meeting and he was not offered anything serious. This is just a spin job to appease the fans so that the organization could say they made an effort to bring Holmgren in.

Cue up much wailing and gnashing of teeth from the "Holmgren or Bust" crowd
Some of them are already saying they’ll enjoy watching the Browns beat the Seahawks.
So now we know that their loyalty to the Big Show runs deeper than their loyalty to the team.
Fans! You can always count on them to do something idiotic.

This is obviously just a gesture from the Seahawks to the fans to make it appear that they did their due diligence in an attempt to appease the fans and put this baby to bed. The “talks” were probably a quick handshake between two parties to end speculation. Nothing more.
