Around SBN: Odds On Peyton Manning's Next Home Includes Three Teams

Mike is always a fun read and this is a great discussion piece. He asked me about Unger and I, at first, attempted to dissuade him. On closer inspection though, it's been a weak first year for rookie guards. Max wins the Homer special: De! Fault! De! Fault!

Sanchez over Stafford?

I suppose relative to draft position, Sanchez, Stafford, and Freeman are about equal?

De
Fault

The second round for Loadholt sounds about right

Right tackles don’t usually get drafted too high.

He was a left tackle.

That’s what he intended to get drafted as. It just so happened that Minnesota saw him as a RT.

Still, he was a first round talent that fell into the 2nd.

Sam Bradford, future Seattle Seahawk.

He projected as a right tackle which is why he wasn't a first round talent

Just like Eben Britton was a left tackle his senior year but projected to right tackle and dropped into the second round.

I remember Oher in the beginning was running as a top-5

But dropped because of a poor senior bowl performance — or something like that, I can’t recall.

I blame Sandra Bullock.

nice to see

Aaron Currey wins at linebacker especially as he was the 4th pick of the draft. Oops no he didnt. He was basically usueless in a position that has almost no bearing on championship teams.

Glad we didnt draft Crabtree. All he does is consistently catch the ball.

Another great draft!
