Clausen Declares Himself Eligible for the Draft
Regardless of whether Seattle is interested in Clausen, his and Golden Tate's entries into the draft are unqualified goods--at least at this point. Seattle will be armed with what projects to be one #8-12 pick and another in the 20s. For those to really pay off Seattle needs a deep rather than top-heavy first round.

Great news.
The more QB prospects in the draft, the better.
I didn't realize Tate has 1500 yards.
I knew he killed the Huskies the last two years, but jeez, he might move up into the 1st round with that kind of year.
Time to start my official campaign to draft Tate!
Golden Tate! Golden Tate! Golden Tate! Golden Tate! Golden Tate! Golden Tate! Golden Tate! Golden Tate! Golden Tate! Golden Tate! Golden Tate! Golden Tate! Golden Tate! Golden Tate!

Careful
If you lust after him too much, it will provoke the Niners into taking him before we can.
In all the years we’ve been drafting, how often have the Niners done that to us? I’ve lost count.
Maybe you could jog my memory?
I don’t recall.
The Niners will want Tate because his name is Golden.

Golden
… Tate?
Actually, the Patriots have taken more players that I’ve coveted more than any other team in the last decade. There’s Vince Wilfork (the Seahawks were TWO frickin’ picks away from getting him, but noooooo, the goddamned Patriots had to take him), Patrick Chung, Brandon Meriweather, annnnd Daniel Graham (who I really wanted instead of Jerramy Stevens).
If the Patriots take Tate, I will fucking blow up a Hawaiian island.
