The Cardinals Got a Wee Bit Tougher
While the lot of you were sitting on your couches watching UNC/Duke or the WBC, the Arizona Cardinals got busy adding to their pass defense.
McFadden, a second-round draft pick in 2005, overtook Deshea Townsend as the starter opposite Ike Taylor last season and recorded 41 tackles and two interceptions despite missing five games because of injuries.
The Cards now have a pretty solid triumvirate of corners in Rod Hood, McFadden, and Domique Rodgers-Cromartie. Aren't you glad the Seahawks are now the proud owners of their very own Houshmandzadeh?
For those who are interested, the Arizona SBN Blog has a scouting report for McFadden.

And we have Trufant, Josh Wilson, and Kelly Jennings.
Not too shabby either, especially if Jennings regains 2007 form and Wilson is at least as good as he was this season. What we need is safety help, and drafting a Patrick Chung could for the most part erase our secondary woes.

Put up your swords. You know not what you do."
This makes me incredibly glad Carlson is such a solid pass catching tight end
and we signed Housh. With those two and Branch/Burleson on the field, I feel confident Seattle can put up a huge challenge to this improved secondary.
