Why losing Leroy ill is not as bad as people might think
My thoughts on why people should not lose their shit if we do in fact end up losing LeRoy to free agency.

You should mention in your article
That Seattle gets a 3rd round compensatory pick if Hill signs elsewhere. Another reason not to panic if he leaves.

Good Call!
I love me some compensatory picks! How do those work exactly? I’ve never been clear on this

They come after the 3rd round is over.
So it would be a pick in the late 90’s, not far off from what the Seahawks 4th round pick would have been this year had they kept it.

8 million dollars in cap relief and a 3rd round pick!?!?
Sounds good to me.

Food for thought
If the day ever comes when you wake up in your car at a stop light and get caught with weed on you. If a few months later your boss offers you 6 years (of work) for $36 mil. smile real big and say “Yes Sir , Thank you Sir” period.

OK seriously
What do you think they give him now if he does stay?
Next question, do you think he signs for less at say San Fran, they still have alot of cap space i think? I think that’s about the best FU option he has.
In closing how pissed at his agent do you think he is? Bet he goes to bed at night hearing his agent say “They offered $36 for 6 years, but we can do better, your worth more, TRUST ME.” Whoops!
