Undrafted
The undrafted free agents are quickly disappearing from the ranks of free agency as teams snatch them up. While I have yet to come across a proper list of the entire undrafted group and their signings, here are a few notes.
- ESPN put together a list of the top 20 undrafted free agents. You'll have to be an Insider to see the last 10. Do you recognize the name at the top? Seattle signed him. Jonathan Casillas (see John's piece here) got scooped up by the Saints. Derek Pegues is also on that list although it appears he remains unsigned.
- CWU's Mike Reilly latched on with the Steelers
- Graham Harrell signed a deal with Dallas
- Tyrell Sutton signed with the Packers
- Cullen Harper is apparently still unsigned
- The Texans added both Arian Foster and Jeremiah Johnson
- Darry Beckwith signed with the Chargers
I'll continue to update this throughout the day as I stumble across more news, or maybe even a comprehensive list somewhere.

it says he's a five-tech
that’s kind of the opposite of what i’d been seeing about him, like that he was to small to be a 4-3 end
my bad
i saw ‘DE’ and my mind started remembering things about reed

I did click on Reply
but it wouldn’t do anything.
It can be stubborn.
SBN 2.0 is fantastic but not flawless.

Agreed, I click reply on someone else,
then try again and it works for me.
Well, Harrell, Reilly, and Sutton are not such a big deal because we got our QB and RB.
But I hope we sign Pegues. I mean, how much of a diference did we grade him from Greene? It’s probably pretty close. Spillman and Cook are two more safetys that seem about comparable to Greene, or what peopel thought Greene would be. I was high on Greene before, and he seems to fit the Ruskell mold, but signing some training camp competition can’t hurt.
I would say to give Alex Boone a chance… but he had that incident where he got really drunk and just destroyed stuff (cars I think?) so he was clearly never on Ruskell’s radar.
Brian Hoyer as well. May as well give him a shot? Shoot, I’d rather have 4 QBs than 2 kickers. I’d advocated for Reilly and Boeckmann in the 7th, but Teel and Hoyer is kind of comparable.
I didn't mention them because I didnt think either were of much consequence,
but Boone signed with the 49ers and Hoyer signed with the Patriots. San Fran also bagged Kory Sheets.
Damn Pats.
I suppose I was only high on Reilly because Jaws loved him, and likewise for Hoyer because McShay was high on him. If someone out there was high on Teel, I would feel better about the pick.
I can’t complain too much about running back. Devin Moore has me excited, so Tyrell Sutton isn’t a total loss, even if I still believe he’s a 1000 yard back.
maybe it is just me but
I hate the fact that our small school boy (mike reilly) went to the steelers. I really like Teel and think he might turn into a decent back up for Bradford some day but I wish we could have taken a chance on little mikey reilly and sat him on the practice squad. He will be better than Teel in a couple of years.
I like Reilly better than Teel as well.
I thought this would be the year that Ruskell drafted a non-BCS player (LS not included), but nope, all big schools: Wake Forest, Oregon 2x, Rutgers 2x, Penn State, and Cal.
