Is it a sign that Crabtree will not go to the Rams?

Robinson is fast (4.3 speed) and probably more similar to Avery, the first receiver drafted last year, than he is to Crabtree. Given the price they paid, I don't know that it tells us much. It could, though.

I really think Robinson can be good if the light comes on for him.

Between Avery, Burton, and Robinson they could do something as they gain experience. I’m not sure that a possession-type guy wouldn’t be a nice add. I’m not sure Burton fills that type of role, or is more of a Chrebet type. Crabtree would still make sense, though he’d be able to provide more than that. I have to think the Rams nab one of the top tackles at 1.02
